Ha! I bet the pic was taken on a Sunday right after church and I had just taken off my shoes and socks. I've never liked wearing anything on my feet except where necessary. Wearing flip flops right now.

I have to give my Mom credit for ensuring her sons were always well dressed. Well - as much as they allowed to happen anyway.

My first visit to Florida was when my paternal grandparents moved to Clearwater in the mid-60's and we visited during Christmas. That year my brother and I had received a football outfit and when we went outside to play football on the front yard we learned that there were these things called sand spurs!

In line at the convenience store in Dunwoody, Georgia. I’m guessing he has a concealed permit or open carry is ok...

^That's gorgeous, looks like movie special effects^

Today was one of my best Christmas's ever!

My Son's home after 3 months in Europe and since it was sunny and 40 degrees here North of Seattle he suggested we give ourselves a gift and go out for a street bike ride... we've covered 100's of miles together on dirt bikes but this is the first time there have been 2 running street machines here and first time riding on the street together.

Our steeds were a 1973 Honda CB350F and a 1971 Triumph Bonneville T120 with a '66 650cc motor.
My Son wanted to ride the 350, I was good with that since I've got 50 lbs on him.

We were only out terrorizing the neighborhood, local 55 MPH 2 lane highway, the airport area and local back roads for about an hour and a half, but it kept a smile on my face for many hours after.

The 2 bikes are night and day from each other... the 350 is trusty, pulls smoothly to 10K red line, shifts perfectly through 5 closely spaced gears on the left and has a true 2 finger front disc... and is running out of gumption at 60.

The Bonnie pulls like mad from idle to 4500-5000 and surges with torque every shift with a very tall and clunky 4 speed shifted on the right. The front brake on it is a dual shoe that takes between 4 and 9 fingers to entice it to stop quickly, she also attempts to rattle something off every time out. The Bonnie is running great! She pulls hard to 80 and leaves the 350 smartly behind... it will putt uphill in 4th at 30 mph and still pull well if needed.

Man that was fun!!!!

So good to spend time with my Son!!

Aaron about to test a clutch adjustment and pointing out the bike is running on it's own:

Thank you Geary, Skip, and Doug.....very nice!

Bazza's note: Doug's pic showing the 'flatness' of the GOM reminds me why I did a lateral move from the west coast of Florida back to the East Coast.

Gray morning here along the coast.......

Cold and intermittent fog in the mountains-
Spent the day with my bestie since high school droning on and on, good thing he's a patient soul.

Mt. Baker hid behind her shroud most of the day.

I do what I can to clutter the internet

Thank heavens for good longies I always say.
Forecast suggests this area will get a coat of snow tonight.
Wonder what that would look like?

Fog and hoarfrost on a winter morning.

Abandoned house on Saskatchewan prairie.

I took this 45 years ago. A guy ran a stop sign at a T intersection right in front of me, skidded across the road and just made it between these two trees.
