Random pics of plastic. This is what makes owning a pokey little 50+ year old Cessna 150 that cant get out of its own way a PITA. The forward bulkhead in the spinner was made out of crappy plastic instead of aluminum. It’s fragile, breaks easily and is damn near made out of unobtainable like our beloved 911. If....... you can find one, that hunk of crap is a $600.00 piece of “plastic”, WTH!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Custom 3D printing companies are out there. Maybe ask in some of their forums. I'm hoping this becomes a widespread mainstream cottage industry.

I can (and should :/) only dream of what you do. Cessna 337 over Languna Seca East of Monterrey and traveled down the coast. Landed at Hearst Castle in San Simone and switched to the Gazelle, which I fatally plow into the ground regularly. Switched back and continued down to LAX.

I’ve been thinking about that, or either that using a vacuum mold to create on from carbon fiber. Neither of which I have nor experience with. Good times Update: I just got off of the phone with a company that reverse engineers items for a STL files for 3D printers by laser scanning the item. The wild card will be the cost of doing that. I’ve been looking at different apps that do the same thing but I’m note sure on the precise accuracy of the measurements. Random pic of the C-150 prop hub. Propeller pulled off for overhaul/inspection by a FAA Propeller shop. New bolts ordered and cracks also discovered on the rear bulkhead spinner plate. at least that replacement part is aluminum and less than half the replacement cost of the plastic crap.

Saw this in the local small craft harbor the other day. Gotta be the ugliest boat I've ever seen...the true Pontiac Aztec of vessels. Hard to believe that someone got paid to design this thing...and that someone else actually bought it

A few new model cars I’ve picked up. All 1/43 scale except for the #1 919, which is 1:87 scale. It's TINY! Don't know why I bought it, but it was pretty cool:

My resident Osprey made an appearance today. His feathers were wet from grabbing his lunch! He has a really distinctive cry so no matter where I am on the property I know he's on his perch before even seeing him.
