Well,
The Raider The Classic Cylon Number 6 Sharon The Guy left in the Space Station The Guy found in the space station The one they interogated The Doctor on Caprica The Reporter woman Do we count the raider and the classic cylon as models in the 12 models? We know either 7 or 9 depending... I think Z-Man may be on a Possi-'Billy'-ty Now - how do we get the plot back to Baltar running off to the cylons? Or is that SEASON 3?

The beauty of the 12 cylon theme is that they've got us all guessing at the possibilities. ...and if they run out of 12? Well, remember they harvested some of Starbuck's eggs and there is no rule saying that more cylon models can't be invented.

More 'proof' that Billy may be a cylon is the parallelism between Adama and Prez Roz: both took these younger 'kids' under their wings. And the final scene where they are all in the morgue - Adama by Sharon's side, Prez Roz by Billy's side...Hmmm...

OK, that's makign sense. Need to watch the episodes leading to this, probably find it's place to fit in.
I will admit it was an awfully quick hour...

More parallelism:
12 tribes of the colonies -- 12 cylon models The search for the 13th colony (Earth) -- the 13th cylon model (Sharon's baby). Food for thought. -Z.

I kinda hope Billy (Edit: I don't know where "Tom" came from.) is a Cylon. It would certainly make things interesting... He was one character that I thought had not reached his potential and would have a profound effect on the story later on.
I assume that they left pregnant Sharon alive, but it seems that Adama is having doubts about keeping her around.

Tom, I believe is Tom Zarek - the character played by the original Apollo - Richard Hatch.

1st, I think the cylons have a plan. They know all about the 13th colony. They seem to know the information better than the colonists. Maybe they need the help of Galactica to find Earth, so they can destroy it. This would seem logical and Baltar would be a great help in this plot.
2nd, is the Human/Cylon baby 'Dr. Zee'? There are short, very general, Sci-fi channel teasers, one is about B*G and the baby. I think this seasons cliff hanger will be about the baby being borne.

I am hoping...nay... PRAYING that the new series does reitierate every horrible mistake of the first series, let alone Galactica 1980. My bet, is the baby is not born. The series finale will be the destruction of Pegasus by the terrorist nuclear bomb. This was hinted at in one of the podcast producer comments. He said in the finale the terrorists will use the nuclear bomb "to great effect". Perhaps the baby and Sharon will be killed in the process. No problem for Sharon...she'll be back.

Here is a great read as to _why_ Galactica 1980 was so bad. It explains so much that I would sort of like to see the episodes again and look for the 'edutainment' features.
http://www.blast.net/hart/BG80.htm As far as the baby goes, nope, they can't kill that plot. Sharon is doing what she must to stay alive to have the baby. After that, she will revert to regular old cylon tendancies and won't help the fleet afterwards. Nuclear destruction of the pegasus? That sounds very plausible. There is another thing which can be brought back. There is another flesh and blood number 6 running around the fleet. She was in season one and trying to seduce Adama. We might see her again. Also, we still don't have anymore info on Starbuck's operation and scar...some plot can get picked up there We still have the cylon reporter Tom is still around, my guess is he setup Apollo to take over the black market. Lots of possi-billy-ties

Last night's show was excellent! Back to what made season one so wonderful. Great plot - liked the way the new commander of Pegasus was corrupted by power and the desire to prove himself -- to the point of risking his ship and crew to jump.
I also liked the way Apollo was taken aback at first when he was given command of the Pegasus. Then he made an 'executive decision' and turned on one of the cylon ships - nicely done. -Z.

Agreed. The cast has an excellant ability to communicate without saying a word. Apollo's "holy $hit" expression last night - both times - was perfect. Nothing needed to be said and it gave an depth and reality to the character.

After Baltar's meeting with Tom, I am more convinced than ever that he is a Cylon plant. We also got to see the cylon reporter again.

I finally caught the re-run...
It looks like Sharon is reborn in the next episode. That should be interesting. I'm not sure if it is a flashback to the birth of the current, living pregnant Sharon, the rebirth of the Sharon that shot Adama, or the rebirth of the current pregnant Sharon. I was shocked and amazed by the way they touched on abortion. This show doesn't tiptoe around anything. Baltar more or less set up the President by recommending one thing and then standing up against it (while announcing his candidacy for the president).

No more legal abortion means the Cylon baby gets to live.
I did not make the connection before.
