Both are candidates. Both miraculously escaped death. Dee by going to the head while everyone else get's cut down. Tech guy by hiding in the arms locker.

However, if the tech guy WERE a cyclon he would have shown his colors in the final gunfight. All he had to do was start shooting at the humans rather than the cyclon and the toaster would have broken through to damage control.

Hey, but like the intro says :" They have a plan" Maybe that would not fit in with the writer's plan.

I want to see how they can continue to incorporate the boomer character into the plots now that she has been found out.

Another point, it seems to me the Cylons are not 100% united on everything. The human look alikes are more advanced and seem to consider the toaster models as...well, toasters (with guns). So your idea makes sense, let the human-look-alike help shoot the toasters to better convince the humans he's one of them ? I don't think the toasters (OK, the centurions) are interested in that human/cylon mating program - though if they send me #6, I might consider it ;-)

Definitely agree that there is some internal dissent (or class division) among the cylons. Hasn't No. 6 helped the fleet before? I think we'll see a lot more cylon-centered eps this season - to help understand them better and pin down exactly what they're planning and why. Of course, the writers (by their own admission) don't even know exactly where they're going with it..

Wasn't Boomer one of the first to take Baltar's "test" and didn't she "pass?" I can't imagine they'll execute her without definitive proof. Maybe I'm forgetting a detail here.. Although shooting the CO is mutiny whether you're a cylon or not.

Right, "passed" as far as everyone knows...except Baltar, who's conveniently stuck on Kobol.

Yeah, but 2 on Caprica know she is one. And the people on Galactica certainly think she is one.

The whole Shannon (on Galactica) being revealed as a cylon will draw doubt to Baltar's whole cylon detection machine. Perhaps it will draw a concerned eye towards Baltar himself....

Intense episode. Good stuff.

I like the 'dual' saviors -- Number six keeps saying their child is to be the savior, while on the other side, the President is claiming to be the leader & savior of the humans. So who will be the real savior of mankind?

Baltar -- he's the man! Love the crazed look he has, well, most of the time.

A whole week before the next episode. Not fair!

Very very good "Good vs. Evil" thread. And Baltar is "crazy" falling for what the devil feeds him.

It seemed like Tigh just started issuing silly orders from the very beginning of the episode - no real explanation, no gradual decline, just, "Look, this guy is a terrible commander."

Also interesting how his (Tigh's) wife managed to make a fool out of him AGAIN - elegantly convincing him to let the press see the president. She's gotta be a cylon...

The show is only an hour long...they don't have a lot of room to build pretense for Tigh's reasons. Especially when there is enough back story to explain it. Plus it seemed like the main focus of this episode was the Kobol plot line. Note that there was no Caprica plot line.
