5 zip Red Wings.
Penquins melt down. Malkin shows that he is a goon...hacking guys from behind, hitting in the head, crosschecking. Since he knows the league wont suspend him, he apparently figures that he can do whatever he wants. Hope he doesnt hurt anyone with his cheap shots. |
Malkin is a goon and Crosby went to the Lebron James school of sportsmanship.
Bettman looked like someone kicked his puppy watching his annointed one getting spanked. |
I think this one has a couple more in it.
The kids got slapped, but it ain't over. The wings sure didn't look old, slow and hurt tonight. |
It was great to see Pavel come back after 6 games out, dominate the game and crush Malkin on his assz, taking the puck right away from him. The Wings are 1 win away from their 5th Stanley Cup in the past 12 seasons.

Still feel that way Sonic? ;) My thoughts are with the 1960 Pirates, getting severely spanked by the Yankees. Scores like 16-3, 10-0, and 12-0 and still winning the series in 7. Glad there are two days off though. We need a short memory for sure. |
I wondered when the Wings were going to show up.
I am excited for Tuesday night, it should be a good game. |

Unlike LeBron, Crosby will shake hands after the final game. |
Crosby cannot win this series by himself.

The Pens certainly have there work cut out for them. They're down but not out.
The fat lady is still hogfeasting not singing yet. |
If the Wings win the series and they give the Conn Smythe to Malkin, I am going to Hurl. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/pukeface.gif
He has had a great playoff, but has disappeared at times in this series...especially since Pavel put the hooks on him last game. He has also played with a goon like intensity when they are losing...not good. IMO, the Conn Smythe should go to a player on the winning team. The series is still the Pens to lose... ;) |

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.fanhouse....ins-fleury.jpg History will repeat tonight. Let's Go Red Wings! |
Hockey finals ratings abyssmal.
The Stanley Cup rematch is garnering similar Canadian television ratings as last year. CBC announced Monday that 1.875 million viewers watched the Detroit Red Wings take a 2-0 series lead over the Pittsburgh Penguins, a small increase over the 1.869 million who watched Game 2 last year. Game 1 saw a decrease from 2.1 to 1.7 million viewers. The Red Wings won the Cup over the Penguins in six games in 2008. In the United States, NBC’s telecast of Game 2 drew a 3.4 rating and a six share. That’s up from the 2.6 rating and five share of Saturday’s Game 1. The U.S. rating is the percentage watching a program among homes with televisions, and the share is the percentage tuned into the broadcast among those households with TVs on at the time. — With files from the Associated Press. ---------- For the life of me i don't know how this sport survives. |
Whose quote is 'abysmal'? Ratings are UP, even if they've been low since the lockout.
|
I wonder how many watch all of their hockey online as I do?
|
Let's go Wings!
