Well boys, (and girls), tonight is the night. I think I'm more excited, (and nervous), than I was for the Steelers.
Good luck to the Wings and the Pens, (less luck for the Wings) ;) To answer my own questions from earlier no city has held both trophies, Lombardi & Stanley Cup. GO PENS!!!!!!!! |

I agree, I am excited and nervous. I am hoping for a good game.
The inlaws are in town, so they will get to hear me yelling as I wear my Konstantinov jersey!! Go wings. Bill |

Congrats to the Pens. They shut down a great team last night. I did not think they were good enough, apparently I was wrong. Nice to see some hard working grinders score and hoist the Cup.

a class act. both teams.

Congrats to the Pens. They deserved the cup. They were the better playing team and wanted it more. The Wings still looked tired last night. They didn't have jump and the Pens did. It would have been great if Hossa showed up a scored a few goals too.
Having said that, I used to respect Sid the Kid but he has turned into a classless brat. Didn't shake the hand of Wings captain Linstrom. Frankly, Malkin is a great player but a goon. I hope they grow up. |

The shaking hands in the NHL is a tradition and should be honored.
However I just read that Red Wing owner Mike Illitch blew Bettman off and just walked by him when Bettman tried to shake his hand. That, lol is beatiful.... Bettman is corrupt and a joke as a commissioner. I wouldnt shake his hand either, especially after the league conspired to tilt this series in a certain way. |
Yeah I heard Linstrom was upset because Sid didn't come over to shake his hand. Why did he not walk over to him and congratulate Sid? Sid did go through the line. I am sure after winning the Cup after dreaming about it all his life, the first thing on his was making sure he did not miss anyone.

I'm at a loss to the hand shaking bit. If they get in lines why were hands not shaken?
