I was actually glad to hear Richards comments-they didn't come to play. They were handed a free powerplay that could have put the entire series on ice in the first minute and did nothing. The game was more or less won by the Habs at that point.

Cycling comment-anyone see the Flyers fans at the top of Ca18 in the TOC stage today-running with the leaders, carrying a fake cup. Only Philly phans...

My call is that we will have an Original 6 final, the habs will beat the Hawks in 6 games, but what do I know, I actually thought my Canucks would be in the Final.
Snipe, there are lots of goofey sports/games out there but hockey is not one of them

Hockey is by far the goofiest of the 4 major US Sports.

I remember seeing it in Halifax in 1977. When the goalie from Quebec talked in French "tassez vous Tabernacle", there was only 2 of us laughing in the whole theater.

Same year to another good one, Gunball Rally, I've got both on DVD.

When I got G.R. from a local store, I ask her if it was on VSH, I got the "3 heads look", so I had to tell her the the movie was way before she was born and DVD did not exist at that time...

Calling hockey the goofiest of the 4 Major US sports is your opinion, hockey in Canada is the major sport - no question. Maybe your opinion is formed because you can't skate, and if you can your ankles probably rub the ice. Of the 4 major sports I think base ball is the goofiest.

My opinion is formed based on the way the weirdly shaped puck can randomly bounce and deflect and create totally goofy goals that have nothing at all to do with skill, and cause teams to lose because of it.

They don't call them "Goofy goals" for nothing.

Hockey has more random game changing events than any of the other major sports.

At any rate, the fat lady is definitely singing for Montreal...

No doubt about that, if the habs come back it will be historic

Turnout that Giroux, Richards & Timonen were wearing "Stanley" brand skate made by H.F., which like most of their tools, are made in China:D:D:D

I think you'll find that football has more odd plays related to the shape of ball.

I dont for a moment count the Habs out... We have seen what they can do with their backs to the wall. The Habs are also 5-0 in elimination games this playoffs. I am looking forward to tonights game.

I have to admit that Leighton has made some crazy saves and overall the flyers have been the better team. Tonight is the whole enchilada.

I thought Saturday's game was the biggest one. Who ever won that one was set to win the series

I don't think so, but football can be goofy too.
