Who's confident?

I really don't even care, the Flyers already made it much farther than anyone thought they would.

Then they get the Bruins who aren't that good to begin with and get spotted a 3 game lead from the Flyers. Credit due again to the Flyers but I would grant more to a monumental meltdown from the Bruins. Good teams don't get down 3-0, look at the stats. Next up the 8th seed Habs who just came off 2 7 games series with nothing left in the tank. I predict the Blackhawks in 5.

I hear what you're saying but I also see that you and your Pens players are already on the golf course while we're still playing. I guess the Habs were good enough to beat the Pens but not the Flyers huh?

Rich76_911s 05-25-2010 10:58 AM

I haven't heard one over confident Flyers fan yet. Sniper, a guy who thinks hockey is stupid, got pretty cocky when they were up 3-1 in a series I'll confess.

I did however hear an over confident Pens fan somewhere though:

Hey, give me some credit. I had questioned Boucher's abilities. Don't think they would be where they are with him still playing. Sometimes injuries(is he still injured?) make the best moves for your team and allow you to move on.

trader220 05-25-2010 11:29 AM

Boucher played fantastic in the games before he was hurt and he got them into the playoffs so I think they would still be where they are with him in the net.

Nice day for golf out there in Pitt huh?

JJ 911SC 05-25-2010 11:32 AM

I Think that

Actually, it is a very nice day today. We need a rest here any way. 2 Seasons with hockey deep into June cuts into my activities. Win a cup and then we can talk.:D

m21sniper 05-25-2010 12:24 PM

The Flyers have won 2 cups.

And talk about tired. We've had 2 straight world series runs and an NFC championship game in Philly the past couple years, besides the flyers.

Let's see. The Pirates actually have won a World Series later then your Flyers winning a cup.

m21sniper 05-25-2010 03:09 PM

What do the pirates have to do with anything?

Why is this a competition? No one cares about the Penguins.

This is about Flyers-Blackhawks.

911boost 05-25-2010 03:50 PM

Everything is about the Penguins, because they have the greatest hockey player to have ever played the game!

I all seriousness, I am surpirsed by the Flyers, but I was very impressed with how the 'Hawks played. It could be a good series, but I predict Chicago in 6.

s_morrison57 05-26-2010 06:41 AM

Gonna be a good final, not gonna make any predictions cause I'm in a real slump lately, i thought the Canucks were going to the final and that P. Tracey had a shot at the 500

JJ 911SC 05-26-2010 07:04 AM

One more strike...

Since I was not sure if your are a Lefty or Righty, I got something neutral. You'll have to post some action shots...

To maximize the surprise, do not read the Custom Slip. With any luck and no screw-up from Canada Post & US Custom, it will be there before Richards touch the real one...

Pens in 5, oh... :( ( ;) )
With no dog in the hunt going to sit back and hopefully enjoy a great series.

Love the Hossa pictures! Much of the blame on him is that he really didn't do much for either team in the series.

That is one lousy photoshop job. Couldn't someone be bothered to get his Detroit number right?

Hossa has been a non-factor for the Hawks in the playoffs this year as well. But, after three straight years in the finals, he's going to get his name on the Cup this time around, regardless...

Hmmm, seems like he's a jinxed mercenary.

I look forward to him losing his third straight finals.
