The only stuff delivered in dry ice are cadaveric body parts, I think. We don't use too many meds that have to be refrigerated. Since it's the holiday right after a weekend, I doubt anyone used anything recently where the dry ice would still be in solid state.

No, they come in paperboard and plastic packages. Whether saline (we add the saline here--it's a bit DIY) or silicone. There are expiration dates on the packaging, but I think it's regarding for how long the product is guaranteed to be sterile within the package.
