okay.... one of the stijn peeps needs to talk me out of placing an offer on a 20 gauge shotgun....

i've been completely obsessed with a 12 guage, but i think i can get a double barrel 20 gauge, NICKEL PLATED!!!!, for under $400. it seems that difference in cartridge loads is minor....

azzy, i love you!

its not about size, for me. i just want something effective for hunting grouse.

what attracts me to this gun is that it is a. light b. made of nickel (meaning it will be easy to clean and maintain and will last FOREVER) c. i can get it for CHEAP and it is NEW d. ammunition is readily available and almost identical to 12 ga ammunition e. less recoil

what detracts: a. it isn't a 12 gauge b. the ammunition has less BB count c. everyone is telling me that 20 gauges suck (i like to buck popular opinion, so this one may be an attraction)

in France it was normal for guys to take their shotguns to work in the car, with the ammo, and on the way home, just park the car on the side of the road, and just wander into the paddocks and lbast away at the partridges, doves, pheasant, whatever they could find. You would hear the boom, boom, sometimes only quarter mile away from the houses, I used to think it was strange, but here it seems that it is not out of the norm.

In Australia, it would be so unusual, it would make you jump at the shots, and wonder wtf was going on.

I love my 20ga D, so I say go for it, just means you have to be a better shot.

Plus, it never hurts to have an abundance of spoons.

Walked into a bosses office carrying a shotgun. The boss looked up from his desk a little startled, I couldn't resist and said, I'd like to talk to you about a raise. He said, You got it. Was working night shift, a couple of co-workers and myself were going quail hunting that morning right after work. There had been a rash of parking lot car break-ins and I didn't want to leave it in the car. Locked it in a tool cabinet in his office until quiten time.

Well, first spin up of the engine.
Stopped by the only hobby shop around earlier today and got a bunch of stuff. Redid all the servo arms and some of the control arms.

Have everything done but fine tuning the aileron controls.

Man, that little engine and prop can make some thrust!
