When were spent a week in Flagstaff we drove each day out to a location and back to the same motel each night. When we went down to Oak Creek Canyon we liked it so much we ended up making a reservation at a motel that looked nice for the next night. We drove back to Flagstaff for that night and back to Oak Creek Canyon for the next night. Highway 89A is a fun road. It was nice and cool, like Flagstaff. We never made it down to Phoenix for some reason.

Can you apply juice just to the shift lock and get it popped into N?

I'm hesitant to even attempt fixing. The fuse/relay block isn't crazy expensive, but god knows what else is fried or if a new one will just burst into flames as well...

Oh I know what summer feels like. And I don't mind it, as long as I have AC!

I think I see a problem there!

You are gonna need a lot of that Lucas Smoke to refill those wires and relays.

Call a top shelf tow truck. They can pick it up and haul it away for service. Just put tire dollies under the tires. It will roll like a skate.

Might be handy to have around with all those British cars.

Hence the green.

Joe are you going to trace some of those to determine where the problem lies?

Honestly, These are rated the same as the fancy metal ones. Not sure why they wouldn't do the trick for rolling a car around on, and they are MUCH cheaper!

It won't fit in the garage and I'd kinda like it a little further away from the house.

I think I can physically trip the shift lock...

With that happening I don't blame you keeping it away from the house.

I'd compeletly remove the battery, just to make sure it don't happen again!

It's away from the house now....the interlock was actually pretty easy to override.

On a more positive car note, I just spent $175 to reconfigure the exhaust on my e39...

What a difference. I had straight pipe from resonator, no muffler. Decided to straight pipe resonator and put the Dinan muffler back... HUGE difference in low end torque/back pressure and it sounds angry

On a less positive car note, I'm dumping about a grand into repairs on my wife's POS Jetta. The dealer was trying to talk me into spending more (more than double), but I kept them focused on only what was needed. We're going to get rid of the Jetta later this year. Yay!

Wanna buy a rover? Only minor electrical issues!

What really pisses me off is that the damn thing runs great. It only uses about a qt of oil every 3-4k and no coolant.

You can run your rover with no coolant, I thought only 911's did that?

Everyone told me welcome to the prince of darkness when I got my rover. All I can say is the Cayenne is a much much nicer ride...uh and can actually accelerate to pull out into traffic and pass cars on the highway.

Years ago I pulled up behind a guy that just jumped out of Pinto starting to burn. I grabbed my fire extinguisher and he started screaming at me to get back and go away. Then he looked at his car and said burn baby burn!

I don't see many Pintos on the road now days for some reason.
