Circus is coming to town this weekend. Advert says it is the last chance to see elephants live.

Too bad the circus couldn't treat them like pets and not abuse them.

Are they going to use dead elephants in the future? Just stuffed with animatronics?

Until the horror movie comes out where the circus animatronics run wild going on a killing spree. Where the lions and tigers start biting people's heads off, the elephants sit on people, they shoot people out of the cannon, the trapeze artist swing down and grab people flinging the across the tent, and the clowns, oh god, the clowns.

Thought about picking up Google Cardboard, but have a hard time spending even that little on gimicky phone stuff.

We are putting new carpet in the room we are moving Jacob into and picked it up on Saturday.

As we were looking at new mattresses he comes over and says he found the perfect couch. He says it is a digital couch. He would give us all his money if we can buy it. We have been looking at couches to replace ours in the family room so we go look. He would burn the house down with it. It has a digital touch screen for two of the three recliners and it includes heat and message, cooled cup holders, recline functions and a bin for remotes and mice.

It was hot and sticky over the weekend. Got some of the other garage cleaned up and the gas tank for the bike cleaned out. Now I just have to seal it. Need to change the oil still in the Cobra so if you need out of the house Glen, you are welcome to help out after finishing Jim's garage.

Couldn't bring myself to buy the Google Glasses over 2 years ago when a friend sent me a link to get them for just $5. He thought I should download all the free VR programming stuff and learn how to do it and do that for a living. Told him 3D modelers make less than I do now as a systems/email administrator.

The technology is called SAFE and there are lots of places that sell planes and helicopters with it. Most hobby shops both online and local.

We bought ours on Amazon when it was on sale for $229.

Ours is the Corsair with SAFE from Horizon Hobby. Corsair

I see it is discontinued, but any of the SAFE equipped aircraft or helicopters should be easy to learn on. Be careful, it can create some bad habits if you get used to pushing the sticks to the stops in beginner mode. The Glasair Sportsman had GPS so it will return and land automatically for you.

SAFE equipped planes

So should I get a lamp, glasses with a loop, or visor to use as a magnifier to work on fixing my helicopters?

So presume this was developed by the porn industry?

I have never heard of VR for a phone.

It uses you phone to display the two images to see in 3D side by side. The glasses magnify the images and make it so each eye only sees it's respective image. It can be pictures, a movie, or a 3D environment you can navigate. They have had them for a while now.

Well they assume PCA members are all very intelligent good looking and modest. You are supposed to just know what it is.

In that case I'm going to plant some wacky weed in it and invite over all my non-pca friends!

I got my goodie bag. Yep they are the VR glasses. Only pretty crappy version. I installed on app and the optical distortions are horrible. It is like looking underwater. I will try o find some kid to give em to. It would give me a headache in a minute of playing with them.

Good no longer Monday, happy Tuesday everyone.
