The kids and I got the wife a cheesecake for tomorrow. She saw it before I could put it in the garage refrigerator and suggested we have it tonight. We did.
 Rick--I would love to see the looks your truck would get here. We actually have a very popular off road track and trail system not far from the house.

It was eggs benedict (smoked salmon instead of speck) for Sharyn this morning. The kids will be over later and I'm roasting a leg of pork.

Yup, and for reasons unknown to me it's the same Sunday in May that you guys celebrate it. We do Fathers day in September, I think you guys do that one in a different month yes?

Wow! You guys did good for the ladies in your lives! The steak Sidney made for me melted in my mouth! I have paid good money for steaks like that at a restaurant! Good thing I now have my own steak chef! Yum!

i have been vegetarian for five days now. yep, i have another gout attack going on. totally sucks. no yummy steak for me.
i found out, today, that my younger brother also gets gout. he doesn't drink at all. ever. i am thinking it is a genetic issue for us. that said, i am quitting beer and probably will be quitting about 80% of my meat intake, too. this gout is the worst.
