Good Monday Morning All.

Jim, I guess you have just two more Monday's to worry about. After that every day is Saturday.

I started on my taxes yesterday. It just is not right that I have to buy a program like Turbo Tax and spend a few days to figure out how much more money to send the government. It is shocking how much I have already paid. Oh well I need to keep paying for all the deadbeats and wasteful spending only the US federal government can think up.

Yep, today and next Monday are it for me. Next Friday will be my first of hopefully many consecutive "Saturdays." Knock on wood.

Over the weekend, I reviewed my taxes that I previously prepared with Turbo Tax and paid more money to file them. At least we're getting some money back.

I keep looking for a 18 year old Swedish maid to adopt or maybe I should get a mortgage on the house and go buy a GT4. I am pretty sure Mrs. Carrera would be equally unhappy with either decision. But honey, I did it for the tax deduction! ain't gonna work on her.

Sid is probably using a different app to upload the photos.

Jim, are you going to play Beach Boys music the road trip west?

He has several days of driving. I can't imagine listening to any one band for that long.

On my last trip to California in 2014 I started out listening to all the AC/DC albums one after another. 10 Hours of AC/DC was enough for me to say enough. I went to random play on my 16 gig of music on the USB thumb drive.

I don't know that the BB have that many hours of music, but he could still listen.

Momma's and the Pappas California Dreaming. All the leaves are brown in DC right now.

We seldom choose a specific artist on ours, just hit the USB and random.

Yea, I have about 14 gig of MP3s on my 16 gig USB stick. Put it on random and let it play. I never know if the Moody Blues is up next or In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida or ZZ Top or the Eagles.

Yep. And some Eagles (Take it Easy, Hotel California). And Simon & Garfunkel (America).

Glen, with that music I could road trip with you.

Jim, is everything mostly ready to pack up and go?

Not yet, but we have the trailer reserved and we have plenty of boxes ready to start packing.

Glen & Richard, as it currently stands now, we'll either be in OKC on April 5 late afternoon, or April 6 lunch time. Unless weather forces us to take an alternate route out west.

The house across the street form us is a rental. It rents for over 2 grand a month.

The couple that lived there for the last 6 months moved this weekend. They had two 18 wheeler moving vans full and several trailers. They must have had the house packed full.

The good news is folks that can afford the rent always keep the place looking nice. The last couple moved to OKC from California and were looking for a house to buy. I guess they found one.

Good Afternoon...Hit the ground running this morning.

Mistakenly made my ringtone the start of a song i liked. Was doing the random play thing traveling and missed a call because I thought it was just another song starting.

When I traveled back and forth to Atlanta a lot I really liked listening to unabridged books on tape instead of music. The music lost my attention at about half-way thru Arkansas. With books on tape I would find myself wanting the gas to pump in quicker at a pit stop so I could get back to the book.

A girl I dated had all the BB records. So one evening we decided to listen to all their songs one after the other. Will never do that again. To this day not very excited about listening to any BB song. Neither of us would have been able to complete the listening experience except we were both completely stoned out of our minds.

Spring weather returns to the DC area. And it's no longer Monday. Win-win!

Morning all.

Date night - went to the casino, ordered dinner at the bistro, long wait, query at the kitchen - told it's the next order up, another long wait, another query at the kitchen, order lost - wait here please, one meal arrives at the service counter and told the next will be shortly, some time passes, told them I'm taking my wife's meal to her and I'll be back, got halfway to my table and thought I'd pinch a sample off the plate, stone cold, gave it back to the kitchen, got a refund, went back to finish my beer, nice beer now warm, went to get another beer and kitchen staff is delivering both meals.

Haven't been to the casino for a while coz the service turned to 5hit, don't think I'll be back for a while again. Best thing about the meal was I got a healthy discount when i ordered, and they refunded me the full price for both meals.
