Hey, that is a good idea! Yea we need to go home early because right now up near Drummond and Ames (90 miles northeast and moving away from us) there is possible rotation.

There is nothing at all around here or southeast of us (about the only direction I care about) but hey they closed one school district for the day and several school districts went home already.

So far all my docs let me pick and choose my notifications so I have been able to pic only one. I choose phone and typically get a call two days before the appointment. i have the appointments on my phone and it reminds me 2 hours before in case I forget, then I reset it for however long it takes before I can get there so I know when to leave.

My dentist has a facebook id for her practice. Don't know why I would want to follow my dentist.

Yea, I have the appointment in Outlook. It is on my computer that I use all day, and on my iPhone. I never forget appointments. Three reminders is stupid.

Walgreens keeps asking me if I want their iPhone app to notify me when my prescriptions are ready AND if I want them to send me a text. I get an email already, that's enough, quit asking for more!

Oh, and last Nov I had ONE prescription I had to have refilled on vacation. Then for the next 3 months it kept trying to refill all my prescriptions at the Walgreens I had that one filled at when on vacation. Even though my default location was set and it kept telling me my closest Walgreens was the one I usually get stuff filled at. Stupid computer programmers.

Fixed the electric eye on my overhead door. One of them broke where it mounts to the bracket and I have to put new tape on it and re-aim it every couple of years. I don't understand why they put the little LED light that helps you aim them are on the side next to where they mount on the bracket so you can't actually see the LED to adjust where it's pointed when actually mounted on the bracket. Does not seem like a user friendly design at all.

Used to have to adjust the ones on our door often as well. The tiny little wires finally broke where they enter the plug. I looked but found no way to bypass the sensors so I ended up buying new ones.

I mounted them a bit more so they wouldn't be struck by feet or brooms.

Had to replace mine for the same wire reason after I moved in. Set them back a bit so they are plenty out of the way. Don't know how it got broke, just didn't close one day. Maybe Mom went on some kind of cleaning frenzy. I can tell when the tape is getting weak because it quits working after one of our little earthquakes.

Wow, we've had 8 people so far take the new $5000 opt-out.

Eye has hurt less today. Glen was able to eat lunch so I guess it didn't look THAT bad. Or he has a strong stomach.

Yea, Rick is a poopy head that abandoned us so snow is ok to type. Let it snow let it snow.

No snow likely around here. Hail is very possible. I would prefer snow over hail. It is 80 and 72% humidity. Golf ball to baseball hail has been seen southeast and coming to the metro area in a hour or so. TV is continuous coverage of the weather. They are tracking everything.

I hope you OKC guys have an uneventful evening. Well, the same goes for the rest of you, unless you happen to want some kind of event.

Well the line came through and we had some brief winds and 3/4 inch of rain but something knocked the power out. We are on flashlights and battery operated tv.

My power stayed on, but the neighborhood behind me lost it.

Must not have done much here. Fell asleep with the weather alerts on TV. No new limbs were released from the cottonwood.

We were without power for a little over an hour. The rain coold everything down and it was not hot in the house at all so no big deal. I have one large battery backup for the computer system and the router and modem and switch. As soon as I turned that off our internet went dead of course. The other batter backup runs the Tivo DVR. When the power cam back on I powered up the UPS batteries and all was good.

No damage around us except the typical little bundles of leaves and twigs. It will interesting tonight to watch TV and they will have reports of the damage. We had a swarm of wimpy litter twisters mostly F0 and those knock out power poles and tear up trees. There was one spotted on RADAR a bit east of us, but I don't think is what got our power.

Good Humpday morning.
