Yeah, it's one of those Contigo thermal tumblers my wife bought at Costco.

I miss Costco! You should be wired for the day then when you are done!

Sounds like we will be out there for a beach wedding, maybe, in December.

Afternoon fellas!

Apparently, my wife made the news. I didn't see it yet but will watch at 6pm.

She saw a rear end accident happen a couple cars in front of her this morning. She stopped and helped the driver that was rear ended stay still and calmed him until EMS arrived. She called me and was still shaken up an hour later.

No blood but the dude was complaining of severe head and back pain. They rushed him to the ER on a backboard.

She said an MDOT worker stopped but didn't know what to do so just stood there. She has been trained in first aid, CPR, and other medical areas for her role in HR.

Yep, I found me a good woman.

I usually mute the phone and do stuff like post on Pelican for those. Most of the time I have no involvement other than I am IT. The last one was how to integrate two web apps information. I have no way to write code for either and I am sure they wouldn't want me to. I had to be there in case there was something to do on our end. There is nothing to do on our end.

Did all the first aid stuff in boy sprouts. Only time ever used it was when one of our handicapped troop members had an epileptic fit on top of a 40ft high water fall and fell over the falls busting his head open. That was real neat. Was amazing that was his only injury. At least we were Prepared as they say.

Think I've forgotten most of that stuff.

We (me, wife, kids) took the Red Cross course a couple years ago to get re-certified. Kids aren't certified but it was good for them to go through the course.

Only injury we had in scouts was a fish hook in the nose of one of the kids. Bled like you wouldn't believe.

Our scout troop was for handicapped. Half the boys were handicapped and the other half looked out for them. If you joined our troop, the first thing you had to get was all the first aid badges. Took well after I was out for the troop to get some of the badge requirements changed so the handicapped could earn them. There was a kid in the troop in a wheel chair that we took on 2 50 mile hikes so he could get the badges. He was so proud. His two older brothers were starters on the OU Sooners football team and you'd think his badges were better than that. None of his family members were in the troop or helped either. His Dad would just drop him off and leave him with us without his electric wheel chair.

Yikes!

Thanks Pete, I will forward that info to Mrs. Carrera. We don't have room for heavy coats in the car. We will figure something out.

I'll have to ask the wife but I'm sure she will be ok with them staying with us.

I WOULD end up on a backboard for that suggestion!
