I noticed a horse trailer parked across the street at the new folks' house yesterday. I got my daughter and we walked over to see them. It was the Dodge diesel guy, He's a real cowboy! Had spurs on his boots and everything.

Turns out his folks have a horse farm not far from here and invited my daughter to come out riding someday.

His Dad even had a 6 shooter on his hip.

The truck still annoys me but he seems like a nice enough guy.

Through Exchange? Thought that was a level 1 qualification.

You'd think. Sad part is we already had a help web page to direct people to from when we migrated to hosted exchange. It even has pictures. Think maybe with the opt outs and layoffs we lost the wrong people.

Also got access to manage the production and sales reports generated daily on our AS400 and emailed as pdfs. There are over 600 of them. So far 180 of them were generated for and emailed to people that left the company long before the layoffs. I'm think our AS400 cost will go down because IBM chargesby processor operations.

I guess, from looking at the schedule, that we can't check in until 9:30 so we will be there
around then.
What have you got on the agenda for tomorrow?
Great I still have the Tickets.

Pete, it looks like we will take a bonsai run at Mt. Washington again. The other couple here from our region was interested. We did the lakes tour on Tuesday.

Today was fun. We got across the border and tasted the EIGHT samples of apple cider. We picked out our favorite and bought a liter. Our friends from Oklahoma came along in their Boxster GTS. They bought several bottles. We ended up bootlegging one of their bottles across the border since we can have 3 liters per person.

Then before we cam back across the border we at a a local restaurant that I can't pronounce or spell since it was French. Decent food and I had a chance to pee in Canada.

Then we went to Rennline. They have a great facility and some amazing equipment. They make a lot of Porsche parts and tap handles for draft beer.

On the way back we found some great roads that are as good as what Pete showed us and low traffic. It was nice.

I even asked the Canadian customs guy to stamp our passports. They normally don't for that type of travel. I apologized and told him I was just another crazy American tourists. He was happy to do it.

Hey Pete, just call my cell phone and we can get together tomorrow to get you the tickets.

You are welcome to go on our Mt Washington tour. There is a 20% chance of rain so it will not be a perfect day like it was on Saturday but the traffic should be less. I am sure you have done the trip before so it is totally up to you.

Well, maybe not. It is 2.5 each way even though it is just 77 road miles away. In Oklahoma that would be an hour or so. With all the SLOW moving traffic and zillions of roads and intersections nothing moves quickly.

We will find some tour.

Burr. It is 55 degrees here. I almost had to put on jeans. I fought through and kept the shorts.

This is our condo.

The cider place in Canada.

I know a guy here in OKC that recently bought a Boxster GTS that even went to Parade this year. Could be the same guy. If it is I wonder if he took his car hauler RV.

I sleep at different times of the day or night depending on how busy I am. Sometimes is regular at night like most people. Sometimes I get my 7-8 hours during the daytime. Sometimes I only get a couple of hours at a time. If I am really busy on a project I go on military alert, that's awake 4 hrs, sleep one, repeat. It just important that when I wake up I remember dreaming, otherwise I'm not getting REM sleep. Usually hitting a 15 minute snooze gets me my REM if I don't remember dreaming.

Got off a regular daily sleep schedule all the years I was taking care of my Mom with Alzheimer's. Had to always keep an hear on her to keep up with her so she didn't get into anything harmful. Never knew when she would get up and start stirring around.

Yep, that is John's Boxster GTS. He just used his SUV to tow it up here. He came along and the other Cayman just showed up as we were starting the Cider tasting. Nice couple that ate lunch with us in Canada.

John bought several bottles of the Cider and I bootlegged one bottle back across the border since we just bought one bottle. John also bought some stuff at Rennline. We decided to blow off the Mt Washington trip. Spending 5 hours in the car today and then another 24 or 25 hours over the three days to get home was too much.

We will go to the Quarry. Short trip and just a 1/2 day. Then get back here and start packing.

The 928 thing I go to in TX does the drive thing and makes stops at 3 or 4 wineries. There is of course lots of taste testing. One was an olive farm and winery and besides the wine had bread and all different kinds of olive oils to try out. Last year the last stop was a vodka distillery. That really kick started the evenings festivities.

One of the wives was collecting everyones glass. They were cute little 4oz mason jars. Bet they have had a couple of parties with mason jar shots.

The Cider tasting was nice. They make several different products from a white wine to one that was like Bourbon with a apple flavor. We bough a bottle of very nice Apple flavored cider. I don't know when we will use it, but someday.

Sounds like another good time at the parade.

You know, one year you will win something and that is the year that will also suck. All rain, everything closed for some reason...
