What I like about these Japanese anime shows is they ar in Japanese, aren't dubbed, and I don't understand Japanese...so they have zero effect on my dreams unlike the TV series and Movies in english that sometimes cause some really weird dreams.

Back when we lived in Hawaii and long before cable TV we would watch the Japanese station.
We would watch the sumo wrestlers. Since we had no idea at all about what war said or about all the ceremonies before the wrestling began we made up our own commentary.
That was when network tv shows were aired one week later than the mainland. Three stations of English, one Japanese.

Phew, We are back home safe.

We killed a few bugs, and and a few beers. Had a great time. Now it is back to work. Mowing the yard, and laundry. The Macan needs a bath. For reason the bosses wife wants me to do it of course. Just a low level employee and I am so low level I won't get paid for the mowing or the car washing. I am gonna drink the bosses beer, and sleep with his wife though!

Wow.

We hauled home two items for one of the other members. He drove is 911 to Parade with his wife and two 8 year old kids in the back seats. Those two are typical healthy kids. They are twins, a boy and a girl. Both are full of energy. They came over this afternoon to pick up the packages. They (the kids) bailed out of the car and ran the width of the front yard, then instantly asked to see our dogs. So we all went to the back yard, saw the dogs, and of course the koi pond. They wanted to know the names of the fish.
We came inside where it is a LOT cooler and they sat on the floor and petted the dogs. They wanted to see the aquarium inside, and they don’t walk, they run.
They left and I asked my wife if she would want to babysit for them and she is REAL sure she down not. I am certain I don’t.
Wow, I vaguely remember being that age and having that much energy. Back when the world was black and white and the neighborhood was “Leave it to Beaver” and Andy Griffith was the reality I lived in.

I remember being very young and having a lot of energy, but also behaving and sitting quietly when visiting unless told to go outside and play. Parents visited friends and relatives a LOT. And it was not fear of punishment. Learned very early that you got rewarded when you were on your best behavior. One friend of my parents always somehow came up with some home made southern fried chicken tenders and gravy wnen we visited. like most of their friends and kin they kids were either away in college or married.

It's not really remembering having so much energy specifically. It's not remembering being tired.

Good Morning and Welcome to yet another fine summer day.
High is supposed to reach 95° today. 20% chance of rain.
30% change tomorrow with a high of only 92°.
Then it is supposed to climb up into the triple digits Thu-Sun then in the mid 90s all next week.
It is definately SUMMER.

Bet my lawn guy will show up every week now that the grass will have stopped growing.

Our server rooms have their own AC systems. If they get above 71° everyone including maintenance gets email alerts.

My last on-campus office was the first room the AC ducting hit. Any time the AC kicked on my office got to 66° before the rest of the office got to temp. After I climbed up and blocked my ducts it maintained 70 in my office when it was 74 in the rest of the offices. At least it did not blow on me so I did not complain.

Morning all. Well it is before noon but not much.

David, National usually does one coast, then the other coast, then somewhere central. So next year is not gonna be an easy one me me and really far for you. it is in Boca Raton, Florida. Just outside of Miami. The scuttlebutt rumor is for 2020 it will be in Palm Springs, CA. So two more hot parades.

Palm Springs in July. Sounds like a heat stroke convention to me.

Our server room has a dedicated system and has a thermostatically controlled vent fan to evacuate the hot air if the a/c goes kaput. We found out the vent fan only works if the lights are on when the a/c unit froze up. Oops. It was only 98* by the time I got here to fix things. All the VMs were shutting down though.

Probably right here in our parking lot!

I do have to say it works well. Except when it doesn't.
