Remember buying $80 worth of $4/gallon race gas for my black 944 Turbo for Autocross day.
There was a local gas station that had it on one of their pumps. Don't know if it is still there or not.
They limited buyers to $80 of that stuff.

The compression on the GTS is high at 11:1. Not nearly as high as the 944Turbo at 16 PSI boost, just under 17:1 was supposed to be max at max boost.

The 944Turbo was built to handle 21 PSI boost, but if you don't re-torque the head bolts, they stretch, let the heads lift and burn a hole in the head gasket at only 16 PSI. Don't care if you heat cycle the head bolts using infrared it ain't the same as the pressures/stresses of a running the motor.

Aviation gas is not good as race gas. The redline on the airplane engine is 2,400 RPM. Yes, really. It has some lead in it and will make bad things happen to an oxygen sensor or catalytic converter. It is great for airplane engines because it was designed for it.

At some airports 100 low lead is 6 bucks a gallon and up. Some places insist in filling up the airplane and they charge for that honor as well. We get some fuel bills of $250 sometimes. Just one fill-up.

It beats filling up a 767, that can easily be 77 grand.

That would put my credit card just a tad over it's limit.

I know there are many credit cards with truly no limit. They are the type that you have to be invited to have no matter how much money you have. Instead of a minimum they have a minimum. You have to run 100K or more per month through the account. Imagine folks that fly around in huge jets, rent yachts for weeks at a time, and book entire floors at fancy hotels and buy fancy meals for 100 people. I am not one of hose people by a long shot, and I don't even know any.

Several years ago a small local group took a charter King Air to Ames Iowa and back and got a rental there for the day. One of the guys in the group was a charter pilot for the company and the plane was free for us that day. All we paid for was gas and the car rental. It was still way more expensive than taking a bus, but a LOT less time consuming.

Seen one o them late night real-estate money maker commercials. They talked about using credit cards to buy large homes. Some of the cards even had pictures of homes on them.

He had two dresser drawers. One was the cards with a balance on the, the other was cards without. Said the trick was to rotate the cards using the ones with no balance to pay the balance on the others to keep from paying interest. Said he used the dress drawers to keep track of which was which.

Seemed like a LOT of cards to keep track of to me.

Check kited a few times to get by in college, but would be afraid to credit card kite. Especially with big enough balances to pay for houses.

Guess that's what they are trying to get people to do with those cards you can transfer a balance and pay no interest for 18 months.

Got another threat to send out compromising videos. They claim they sent it from my account, but viewing the source of the email shows it was a spoof coming from gmail servers.

Also got another email claiming I bought something with my Apple ID. My apple ID does not have the email address they sent it to. Also the email address it came from and the link to check on my purchase are not Apple addresses. It did look kinda like it could be an Apple email.

Don't understand why this crap is getting past my anti-spam anti-virus filter. Seems to be blocking everything else.

If i get very many more I am going to start a go fund me to put ads on TV to not click on spam like the smoking ads and the brain on drugs stuff.

Well, it looks like the old Random pics thread is closed and dead. Now the new thread is called Even More Random pics. At least I can post some more pictures!
