Bald is beautiful! At least my business partner says it is so. He only had a fringe of hair, so it is all gone now. He does shave his head now to keep it all off. And just a bar of soap is all he needs in the shower. No shampoo needed.

Hopefully all hat chemo is doing to the cancer what it is doing to your hair. Keep fighting!

Afternoon all Yesterday was a total bust I took a nap from 1pm to 7pm and still needed more rest. You would think that having less hair to haul around I would have a lot more energy............NOT!

Think how much more aerodynamic you are with less hair! I am sorry for the issues you are suffering through.

Yesterday I went to lunch with a buddy I have not seen in over 30 years. He has changed jobs a lot, and seems to like to change jobs, and move around to different states. He is back in Oklahoma. He is even older than I am, and he is having heart issues. He started smoking when he was 12, and just recently quit.

That is the tinh I had to pick the worst cancer to get. No one asked me my thoughts at the time. I might have picked an easier one the kill.

Ok The wife did the math for me............17 rounds of Chemo. 5 before the bad reaction and 12 after wards.

So far for good but that probably the steroids working overtime. Doing my shore that all that counts at this point.

Off to find lunch that sounds good.

Finding food is usually easy now days. Finding something that sounds good is a little tougher sometimes. Good Luck!

Having done the no hair thing for a long time now, it only saves money on shampoo and haircuts. I think the sun beats on you worse and hats don't have the hair barrier to allow airflow.

Morning all. Spent last weekend in Eugene with the kids before they get overloaded with class work and teaching. Drove thru Portland and saw nothing that needed the guard for. Now to go remove a few roots from around the tree that cut down

Warming back up here. The weekend was nice and just about right. Tomorrow starts round 18, assuming I'm nont to beat up again after a trip.

Hey, maybe like golf, after 18 rounds you get to go to the clubhouse and have a few drinks and and celebrate winning!

We can hope.

So, teaching all the dogs the buttons. Our 2 year old female has learned them pretty well, but last night she was hitting the "no" button and we thought she was confused since it is on the same pad as snack. Then we realized the puppies were crowding in and she was telling them no! As soon as the puppies backed off she hit snack. When they got too close she hit no again.

Good luck on the results!

I was in Florida last week, working with a company that makes our aerial mapping camera. They make several other specialized camera systems. One of their customers flies pipelines, and easements, every single day, over and over. They are looking for people digging or doing anything on the easement that might be an issue. Through rain, in winter or summer, every day that is not a severe storm.

The cameras make many hundreds of thousands of exposures per year. After 5 to 7 years, they need upgrades. I will be working with them to refurbish the cameras pods. That involves a replacing the Canon camera, the GPS, IMU, and all the many proprietary circuit boards, and replacing the custom cables.

It is a daunting task now, but should be easy after a few more. Hopefully I can do a lot of it here, and not have to fly back and forth to the Florida panhandle a lot.

Morning all. WEll things have changed. The Doc says based on this last CTscan Its now in the bones of my back, neck and ribs. Tuesday we fins out about radiation to help curb it. She thinks that is also causing the pain in my lower back, pain transferance is what she called it. They will also be changing the chemo sessions up to once a week for 3 weeks then one week off then start over with 3.

Crap, that is not good news. Sorry to hear that.

Keep fighting!

We have some of your weather here. Fall finally arrived. Three days of light rain, and I had to put the short away and put on jeans, dang it. We did get over an inch of rain.

David, just checking to see if you are doing better.

We went to a club breakfast. One of the club members shot this of my car this morning.

Still lost of bugs below the bumper. I have been too lazy to lay down and clean them off. I need to get it on the lift for some maintenance, and I will clean under the bumper then.

Sounds like a new dedicated work area for you. That actually would be fun.
