My family used to ask if I was on drugs because I looked so happy all the time. So...I started voicing more opinions. Then they said I sounded pissed when I got louder when they weren't listening. Now they say it aint what I say, or even how I say it, but I make them feel stupid. Soo...I am back to keeping my mouth shut and smiling a lot. Stupid sum beaches.

Anyways, night guys.... Need to get caught up on sleep, I fear I won't get much sleep friday night. I get off work at 630, drive 2hrs to Norman to catch a movie with a friend, spending the night with her, and then will be at the 9am PCA meeting Saturday. She has to work Saturday, so I don't feel bad about bailing early.

It is not age as much as egotism on their part. A comment was made one fall that winter was on the way because the weather was forecast to get cooler that weekend. I replied, "Well, I did hear the Loons are gathering." They treated me like I was insane and someone even made the comment that sometimes I don't make any sense. If they would have bothered to ask what I was talking about instead of dismissing me, they would have LEARNED that the Loons gathering in the Great Lakes region to fly south is a natural sign that the real winter weather is soon coming, and that the Loons had indeed been observed gathering to fly south. Stupid, egotistical sum beaches.

Sorry, My sister from Rolla MO came to visit the last couple of days. They come in and ruin all the work I am doing to help my 91 year old Mother with post stroke dimentia I take care of every day. They aren't around, don't know what is going on, or what to do, and instead of asking they just do what they think would help, and the worst part when I try to stop them and tell them what REALLY needs to be done they act like they didn't hear me and do what they want anyway no matter what the consequences are because they aren't going to be here to see it anyway. Freakin arse hole idiots. Every time they come they just have to go thru and rearrange things. It's almost like they are picking over her belongings after she has died. This time they rearranged MY kitchen cabinets because it's not how they would have it. My cabinets have been that way for freakin 15 years and now all the sudden it's not okay? I don't care, but to a stroke victim moving just one thing confuses them, they give up and quit trying. Just having my sister here moving stuff around upset Mom so much that now she can hardly walk and wants to do nothing but sleep. It will take months to get Mom recovered from this carp just because my sister won't listen. And the negative consequences happen even after I put everything back where it was before my sister moved it all. Once my Mom sees something has been moved, then she mentally panics, doesn't remember where it was, and can't finding ANYTHING. It's worse than going in to a blind persons house and rearranging the furniture because the stroke victim has a hard enough time remembering where things were before their stroke and an even harder time learning the "new" place. Arrrrgh!!!

My friend's wife is a Hospice nurse. She says these people are called Seagulls in her professions. They fly in from far away, **** all over everything then leave the mess for you to clean up. I call them stupid, egotistical, do gooder, some beaches.

Ignorant means you just don't know any better, Stupid means you don't learn. Ignorant is temporary, Stupid is forever.

I've experienced sort of the same situation in my family, very frustrating indeed.

Good morning guys.

Thursday, on the downhill slide into the weekend. We are forecast to have a nice spring weekend. It's about time. For the last week it has been overcast and cold. Only a trace of rain so the clouds just make things gloomy.

It has been extra gloomy at my house. My wife's cousin that is a month younger than my wife was just moved to hospice care to wait to die. It started a few months ago with ulcerative colitis. Nothing was helping so they decided to do a colostomy. She was in ICU recovering from the operation and a blood clot caused a massive stroke. They removed part of her skull to prevent brain damage and another stroke hit and she is now brain dead. They expect her to die in the next day or so. She was like a sister to my wife.

Normally when my wife was under a lot of stress at work and she was a bit grumpy I would suggest she call her cousin. Within 10 minutes they had each other laughing about something. She was always in a better mood after she talked to her cousin.

She will be missed by a great many people.
