Good afternoon folks.

Wow, it was a busy day. Why is it that a week before vacation tons of work just shows up. I think the company owner should pay me to take more vacations. It would be good for our business!

I spent all day running from computer to computer. The email orders just kept coming in.

I guess it is all job security!

i've been around. it just slays me that people take 'zombies' seriously.

i see zombies as a metaphor. i've discussed it a couple of times with my wife (we watch 'walking dead').

I actually find it not that bad. The dialogues at least. I read Meno today of my own accord. Once I was able to get out of PPOT mode it is not that hard of a read. Not as enjoyable or easy as the graphic novels, but alright.

I at least do not feel like I am wasting my time in the English or Philosophy classes, which is a big change for me.

that there is a slippery slope. the same one that led me to my major.

Well, the English class is taught by a very funny professor (funny as in he tells great jokes, very witty) and Maus turned out to be a good book. I don't think any other English classes will appeal to me as much as this one. Not even technical writing (already took that back in freshman year).

Philosophy -- I think this is about as deep as I want to go. I like things with more conclusive answers. This seems to be a rabbit hole that I don't want to go down after what my friend who already too the class told me about Kant.

Cal Poly has you declare a major upon entry. You can always change major but at this point it would take at least a couple more years if I wanted to, and I like mechanical engineering a lot better.

Hello fellas. Another long week of work. Glen, you asked how was the new job... It is different, for sure. Working for a start up is different. Not used to the extreme penny pinching but love that it is dynamic and I know all 50 employees. Also like the fact that, potentially, I am here at the beginning stage of something big. The CEO of the company made a killing with his other start up. He sold it for $166 million to a huge company, took off for three years to surf, and then decided to take up this business venture. So, I am kind of crossing my fingers... Hoping this is where I can make a good chunk of money and buy my Porsche.

Sleep tight, just means sleep soundly or get a good nights rest.
