But it would be a fun week!!!

I cooked my Triumph years ago, lack of water in the radiator, temp gauge not working, unfortunately, was on the to do list, and unbeknown to me the head had not been torqued properly, apparently from new, although there was no evidence of any leaking from the exterior of the engine, it was going into the cylinders, and one day on a long drive, it overheated to the max, great lack of coolant, blew the engine big time, melted everything plastic and rubber forward of the firewall to the lights!!! Cost a bundle to repair!

Maybe why I like the air cooled now!

That was much easier than I thought it would be. People on the 944 forum made me worry it'd be a PIA. Glad it wasn't.

Head (you can figure it out) In Charge

and not too much $$$$ I bought the car for $100, bought a salvaged head with a bad chamber, rebuilt my head, resold said salvaged head did some more wheeling and dealing and put that car back on the road for $14. That included DMV!

An elderly man in Louisiana had owned a large farm for several years.

He had a large pond in the back. It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees.

One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over.

He grabbed a five-gallon bucket to bring back some fruit.

As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee.

As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond.

He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.

One of the women shouted to him, 'we're not coming out until you leave!'

The old man frowned, 'I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked.'

Holding the bucket up he said,
'I'm here to feed the alligator...'

Some old men can still think fast.

Our dang microwave died.

It is a built in unit. A GE brand Profile unit. The GE replacement is over $1,200! Ain't gonna happen. In all the years we have lived here we have never used the convection feature or the sensor feature. The big challenge is finding a unit that fits the hole in the cabinet. The hole is 25.5 wide and 17.5 tall. I guess I will post a question for the brain trust.

Yea the old microwave is different that what is mans factored now. The built in units are 30 inches wide. Now we have to buy a counter unit and then buy a trim kit to make it work.
