Morning everyone.

Yesterday seemed like a Sunday since we went to the movies. I got up this morning amazed how big the Monday newspaper was. It seems like a Monday but I am real happy it is HUMP DAY!

I was thinking the same thing about the airbags, cost scenario. Those things cost a bomb. Hubby would like a Cayenne, but I think they are just overpriced, but a good second hand one might be cool.

One of the guys at work has the x5 and I think it looks too small really, which must mean that I am getting used to seeing the larger American cars, lol. In Oz I would have thought that it was a big car.
shopping is dangerous and definitely agree that the Cayenne's are overpriced. It would definitely not be anything more than a used one if I ever convinced her to get one.

Refuse to enter parking lot of 7-11 convenience store between the hours of 7am to 11pm due to huge amount of idiot traffic.

Had my 3 series BMW almost totalled by a guy backing out of a parking space. There was no where for me to go. I was in a line of about 3 cars waiting for a parking spot. There was no room for him to back out until someone else moved. Honked and yelled from when he first started moving until after he stopped, both our windows were down. He just kept coming, even after the noticeable smash noise and bump. Said he thought the honking and yelling was for someone else. He was the only car moving in the entire lot. The only reason he stopped was his car would not reverse any more because it could not push mine sideways. He was in a borrowed car because he wrecked his and the rental his insurance provided in the previous 2 weeks. Told him he shouldn't be driving. Said he had places to go, I said take a bus.

After reading that, only 2 words came out of my mouth, "Dear God"

So when you wake up you have a legitimate reason to wonder "where the heck am I"

Just don't understand...you start backing up, almost immediately you hear a horn blaring and someone yelling stop...Why wouldn't you stop immediately!? I can only imagine if they guy had gotten pulled out of the parking space far enough to go forward, he would have driven off and wondered how the heck the rear of his car got bashed in.

Luckily the guys insurance did pay to get my car fixed. Especially since it was in a parking lot. Have no idea about the borrowed car he was in.

Many years ago in the early 70s I was driving the dune buggy my brother and I made from 2 inch diameter thick wall pipe from a demolished prison. It was very ugly but tough. Some grandpa type backed his fairly new Cadillac barge-mobile right into the bumper on the buggy. We built the bumper to push down small trees. It just tore up the Caddy. It pushed the buggy back-wards but only scraped off some black rattle can paint. Three people were standing there watching it all. It probably cost more to fix the Caddy than our buggy was worth. Five cents of black paint and the buggy was as good as new.

Understand the brush guard on the front of the rover does more damage to the front of the rover in an accident than if it wasn't there.

Looks cool though.

Phew, the work day is done.

It was tough wearing jeans Today. I felt all formal & dressed up. I miss my shorts but it was in the 40s this morning and the high was 55 and windy. Kinda brisk for shorts. Richard may disagree

Got the rc airboat up and hauling a55!
Decided to change the air rudder set up to a single rudder after it cornered so tight it rolled on grass at 1/3 throttle...impressive grass speed.......absurd water speed
