Try a mix of porterfield pass glen. I run the R4S all around and they are awesome. Maybe run the harder R4S up front, and the R4 in the back.

When I burn out the factory pads (or shoes) I always replace them with the Hawk HPS stuff. They bite a little harder than stock and are fairly clean and quiet and also don't have to have a buildup of heat to work like the HP+'s do

We ran some very very fast 30rd mags through mine last summer and the barrel was a little on the very very warm side

Oh, my barrel was blistering.....The bcg was barely warm

I'm just stoked that everything cycled perfectly given the gas system/barrel length

I doubt it. A short barrel like yours isn't going to like the heavier stuff beyond 100 yards. Mine is a carbine with a 9-1 non chromed twist and it really likes the 55gr stuff. The 62's just won't stay together. They don't get moving fast enough out of the short barrel.

Huh, I've been told that the pistol gas system like 62gr better.....but then, why mess with a good thing if it's running 55gr nicely.

Mines non chrome lined...7.5" the noveske claim to fail is the 7 lands and grooves rifling...allows for a better 'seal' around the bullet to retain has pressure for cycling.

The muzzle blast is epic.....great from my end, not to loud and easy to rapidly re acquire but everyone else hates it......loud as hell to the sides and shoots flames a good 3 ft forward

Your 951 was not even close to stock HP.

My car is 2,741 lbs without my fat butt in it. When I had it corner balanced I had 1/3 tank of gas in it.

If I see 235 HP at the dyno I will be astonished. I will be surprised to see 220.
you may not see it at the dyno, but that is HP at the wheels. you have to figure that ~25% (???) is being eaten up in mechanical loss.

i would bet that my 951 is getting about 270hp at the crank, which translates to about 200 at the wheels, which is what the dyno measures.

The R4 are the racing pads, so they should be harder than the R4S street/autocross, which I run all around.

When the Carrera brakes were introduced they included a bias valve because the rear pistons are oversized, much bigger than the previous M pistons. What that means is you have a shift in the brake bias above a certain pedal pressure, meaning that at low deceleration situations like in the wet you get a more rearward bias because there is less weight transfer so you can stop quicker by using more rear brake. When you push harder on the pedal like in the dry the bias is more forward to account for the weight transfer.

911's run stock pads just fine unless you are racing big tracks.

88 non-S factory spec is 230hp, that is 200 rwhp on the dyno just like Glen's Carrera.
