They gave you two Boobs to play with because the heater went out?

Don't space heaters rank #2 only to toaster ovens for cause of fires? Ask if you can build a fire in your waste bin. Or if they have an empty barrel somewhere you can use.

We pay a company for routine maintenance of our heat & air system. Every 6 months they come out and check it out and clean the compressor outside and get everything working properly. The agreement also give us priority for any repair call.

For two of the routine maintenance calls they did the next day out system did not work. When he showed up last time we told him this is the last chance. If the system is not working 100% the next day we are getting a different company.

Maybe you can burn the tires that Richard doesn't want with the wheels he's trying to buy. That ought to keep you warm.

I went out and got my own space heater. Office already warmed up to 60 and climbing. I showed them how a space heater works. They still aren't convinced.

One of the girls that I worked with was a cute skinny lady that liked to wear skimpy outfits. It was good eye candy but she would get cold and turn the AC temp way up. It would get HOT in no time and the AC could never catch back up. The boss put a box over the thermostat and told her to never touch it. She brought a small space heater and plugged that in under her desk. The boss went ballistic when he found out he was paying for AC in the office and she was heating the office back up at the same time.

I suggested when she gets cold to grab the vacuum cleaner and vacuum the carpet. Just a few minutes of activity would warm her up and we got clean carpets. I was certainly not going to suggest she wear more clothes.

She actually started vacuuming a lot and she thought is was great to get exercise at work and stay warm.

Of course no one wanted to tell her to put on a sweater...hahaha.

Heat is back and I am already shedding layers. Hit 66 already. I am glad my steel toes are no longer freezing cold.

It's melting, it's melting...the snow and ice outside is melting.

My driveway and sidewalk are clear.

In fact, it was so nice out pulling in the trash can and checking the mailbox, I may even go to the Grocery store.

Got the guy in UK down to $1000 shipped for the wheels only. And with better pictures a quote from Wheel Flip for $1500 to re-barrel them to 18x8et57 and 18x10et58 like standard 996 wheels.

How much can you sell your old wheels for?

Evening Y'all.
I worked in a shop for a few years that had waste oil burners, and they work great if you service them regularly, other wise they don't work at all. One winter (after no servicing) they crapped out and we had no heat, I told the boss to have them fixed by lunchtime or he would not like my solution. He started to take me seriously when I made a pile of dead tires in the middle of the shop and parked a gallon of diesel fuel next to it. I told him at 12:01 I stared the "back up heater"., He called someone and got it fixed fast. Rickie don't do cold

note to self hide old tires and fuel if Rick visits. Or just buy him a blanket.

Having heat is the simplest solution

as long as the house furnace is working we are good. if the power goes out its only about 10 min before I fire up the generator and still have heat.

The only time we lost power in the winter I fired up the fake fireplace. The gas logs produce some decent heat. We just loaded up and went to my office to stay warm. Watching TV in the dark is real boring.
After a few hours I called home and the answering machine picked up. That means we had power.

We have a 5000watt gen. Its enough for lights, tv and heat plus a few misc. other things powered.

When the power goes out, which is rare, I just make the fire a little bigger. I cook with Coleman stuff and enjoy the quiet and dark of a powerless house. It's actually nice.
