There used to be a shoe shine booth at a local night club. Back when I wore boots I would stop in and get a cold beer and get my shoes shined. There was one shoe shine lady the quickly learned when she wore the low cut blouse she got bigger tips. Of course that is just what I was told.

Ah, the late 70's and early 80's, they were great!

Worked at college town pizza joint when in college. The waitresses got to discussing how get the most in tips and how the good looking chicks made the best tips (they were all good lookin). One busy Friday night they decided to have a tips contest, they were trying to decide who was the hottest. They all dressed the same, tight jeans and tight t-shirts. The one that won was not the best looking, didn't have the biggest tits or the best arse. What did it though was she came up with some of those Fisher Price movie camera things that you point at a light. look through it, turn the crank, and watch cartoons, road runner, bugs bunny, etc. She passed them around to her tables to play with. And if the group was drinking (almost all were) she would challenge anyone in their group to a who could down a mug of beer the fastest contest. She always won, she could down an entire beer in one gulp as fast as you could turn a mug bottoms up! By closing time she could barely stand up despite the fact she could hold her liquor. She made more than triple the tips of any of the other girls.

Not a real exciting day today.

I did write a letter to management putting them on 7 days notice before they get a dispute lodged against them with our industrial relations Mob (bloody gumment). Some asshat manager has decided to withhold remuneration entitlements on us.

If I don't get a satisfactory resolution within 7 days they get a rocket up their date from the bloody gumment.

The first public showing of the bikini, Paris 1946.

Looks like the first bikini pre-dates the bikini wax. LOL

Buongiorno, motion.

I would like to offer my undying gratitude to the creator of the bikini. Also, the mini skirt. These people need to win a Nobel prize or something for their contributions to the betterment of mankind...assuming certain proportions of womankind.

The modern bikini was introduced by French engineer Louis Réard and fashion designer Jacques Heim in Paris in 1946. Réard was a car engineer but by 1946 he was running his mother’s lingerie boutique near Les Folies Bergères in Paris. Heim was working on a new kind of beach costume. Réard could not find a model to wear his design. He ended up hiring Micheline Bernardini, a 19yo nude dancer from the Casino de Paris. It was introduced on July 5 at Piscine Molitor, a public pool in Paris.

Good work coppers. I hope the wounds are not severe on the cops. I hope the terrorist died a painful death.

According to the news report the cops are in hospital. They reckon one will be released in the morning. The other one they say is in a stable condition, so he's probably gunna have a tougher time of it.

I sure hope he has a full recovery. The Cop that is. They should feed the terrorist to the pigs and turn him into pig poop.

I hope the copper recovers too (I'm thinking most of the country feels the same way).

The terrorist, he's dead good and proper. There's no coming back from that.
