what is the model of the motherboard?

Asus Z87 Sabertooth.

I have two different computers at work with two monitors. On those they have just one video card. As the computers boot they (both displays) show to bios screen and boot process on both screens. This one only shows the bios alerts on the monitor with the DVI. connector. The configuration software names the top card (PCIE one slot) as card one. I will try other ports to see if I can get down to just one monitor.

It is just strange.

okay, i just looked at the diagram for the motherboard. i suppose your power supply could be in a different spot than i am accustomed. that said, the main PCI-e slot is the one closest to the CPU.

Yep. The number one slot is the closest to the CPU. The power supply is way at the bottom of the case. I will post a picture tomorrow of the case. I need to get it cleaned up and the cables zip tied into place.

What a beautiful day here today. I washed my truck this afternoon. After supper I washed and waxed the wifemobile. I swear, she must park directly under the plant exhaust fans at work. The van had this layer of grime that looked like brake dust.

They machine brake rotors at her plant. Gonna have to insist she parks further out.......

Good Morning.

The rotor material is Not what damages paint, it's the dust from the pads. If it is dust from their machining environment getting your paint dirty, and it is just from being parked in the parking lot, I would be more worried about your wife's lungs. She probably doesn't want to find transportation for the distance she would need to park to keep the dust off the car.

My Dad worked in a machine shop as a machinist machining cast iron, ductile iron, and steel valves and parts for 20 years. At one point his doctor told him his cigarette smoking was helping to keep the metal dust moving out of his lungs and to keep smoking until he got out of that environment. 3 years after he moved to a different job with less dust the doctor said he could quit smoking.

I would never knowingly buy a house the backs up to a 2 or 4 lane road that has a speed limit of over 25 mph. The yards of those houses have a gray tint due to all the exhaust brake and tire soot. The tint gradually gets darker the closer you get to the busy street. It is most visible in the winter when the grass is dead.

My only regret about the small graveside funeral today is that I couldn't have my pastor/lifecoach preside over the ceremony instead of my brother's pastor. Sadly he himself passed away 4 years ago.

I have a very clear memory of the night before my mom died, You guys helped keep me company as I spent the night in the hospital, we took turns so that she was never alone. My sister came in that morning and I went to work, she passed a couple of hours later, and everything from that point on is a blurred haze, I don't think I slept for a few days.

Today? I did not see any obituary. Is it just a family only graveside service?

Family and close friends.

If you really want to come you can. Buy not necessary at all. I don't like funerals and would not go if I didn't have to.

Ever have one of those days where the car is just feeling extra spry and your reactions are in synch and it is effortless to destroy the roads, like the turns are not tight enough kind of day.
Yeah I parked the car before I got arrested. It was a fun morning

Supposed to rain like heck this evening, then be beautiful for the next week.

Looks like I've got a good group coming to the range this Friday. One is an NRA certified something or the other.... We had a chat about the NRA way vs. My (the right) way.

After Krav and destroying stuff at the new gym, I headed down to Port Wentworth (outlying town of Savannah). Just before the bridge to cross state lines, there was a road block.....about 10 cop cars each side, checking drivers licenses and doing 'random' searches...... They were tearing cars apart out there, but not a drug dog in sight......kinda weird.

Without a warrant? The laws must be different in SC because here in Va, they can't even open your door without a warrant or a felony in progress.
