A beautiful weekend and all I have to drive is a POS Jetta. Thankfully, this time next week, I'll be reunited with my 964.

You mean you didn't know you can check things off your list without actually doing them?

Well it looks like the clouds have gone until this afternoon. I will drive the 911 to the PCA breakfast today. Then it is back to doing yard work.

Evening Y'all.
Had an interesting day. rilled a couple of holes in the M1078 and mounted the tag, she is on the road. Beth and I took her out for a spin, well Beth drive I just yelled STAY ON THE ROAD!
Lawnmower guy strikes again, I was out making laps on mine and I watch him pull his pos truck onto my extra lot, lock it up and walk back to his house................Yeah we all know how this went.
I eased on over there, and it went something along these lines.
Me: Sooo Ahhhhh, whats the deal with your truck?
Him: Oh I am waiting on some parts to get here, should be in a couple of days, I'm just gonna leave it there, where it is out of my way, you don't mind do ya?
Me: (after trying to squelch the WTF lok on my face) Well since you didn't ask, you just assumed that it would be okay, yeah I actually do mind.
Him: well it will only be there for a couple of days......
Me: It will only be there until the air pressure comes up on that big a55 truck sitting there, then it will be down in the woods, wadded up against the biggest tree I can find. BTW hows your lawnmwer running?
I turned and walked back up the hill (MY HILL) and it looked like The Keystone Cops trying to move his truck when that Cat fired up.
Thing is he is a really nice guy but I think he holds a masters from Ignant U

The length of a cricket pitch, and a chain either side of a water course is crown land (good info for fishing - you can't get kicked off crown land unless the gummint has it fenced off and sign posted. And a land owner has to provide public access to crown land).

Well being a beautiful night we grabbed a couple of pizzas and headed over to the sons house, well we took the beast truck down town to get the pizza and I told Beth I would drop her off go turn around and come back, well wouldn't ya know it, there were three spaces right out front so we just pulled up, parked and jumped out. People were laughing and loving it. It is amazing how many military people there are here, they come out of the woodwork to come up and talk to me.
I have contacted the VFW and it looks like I may be hauling a truck load of vets in our 4th of July parade, I would be honored.
