The question would be, Do you do enough photogrammetry to bill enough to pay $54 grand in the first two years of use? And if it is would just one seat do all the work needed?

I am the one in the picture that looks like Sasquatch in a Porsche hat.

If I don't drive a new Porsche or even see one up close, will have much less of an unrequited desire to own one. That out of sight out of mind thing.

When I test drove a BoxsterS. I left that day with it and the 928GT went up for sale. It can't be purely coincidence that I test drove a new CayenneS back in 2004. Now there is a 2004 CayenneS in my garage.

Could also be the reason I don't go to strip clubs?

I have driven several new 911s. The dealer had a big PCA club event when the 996 was first introduced. Heck I drove a brand new 928 when they were first introduced. That was when the dealer was a super nice guy and really supported the club. The current dealer does not even like the PCA as far as I know.

I am sure that new 911 will loose more dollars in value in the next few years than my car is worth and my car is still going up in price. I just can't wrap my brain around paying the price of a new Porsche. The base model of the 911 has a MSRP of $84,300 The "Turbo is $151K and the Turbo S is $182K

Geeze, If a new Turbo S is 182K and you put down 30K and finance the 152K for 5 years at zero interest the payments are $2,534 per month and then you need some insurance payments. I bet my agent would send me a big box of cookies at Christmas if I told him I wanted to insure a Turbo S.

Since I have not had a car payment in this decade, century or even this millennium I will stick to my zero dollar per month car payments.

They are introducing the new 2017 tonight, not a 2016. Silly me. The base model is 90K! Wow.

My reason for not owning a new Porsche is also financial. Just don't want to go find out how much more I would like the things I can't have. Otherwise I would probably be driving a new Targa.

The new Targa certainly is sexy.

I smell like a sweaty bonfire.

I did not know bonfires could sweat.

Apparently they do. We had firefighting practicals today and spent the day in the burn house. That bastard was hot.

Yea, I bet.

I have been into building right after a fire. They do indeed STINK. I had to follow around a fire marshal for a day as he investigated an arsonist. It was interesting but I sure don't want to do that for a living.

I am cursed with that affliction as well. My wife can tell when I am alive because if I am breathing I am sweating. At least according to her.

Joe, I am not sure if that is good or bad to burn through one that quick. Sort of bad that you suck that much up but cool you could do it thing.

If it is hot and I am doing much physical activity beyond sitting I don't sweat, I spew. Last week it was low 80s and we were laying the sod in the back yard. I know I drank 10 or 12 bottles of water in 45 minutes and I did not need to pee until I was done with a shower and dinner.

Sid, since we're going to stay overnight (tomorrow) in your area, would you rather we met for dinner or breakfast (Sat AM)
? We might not get in too early, and I'm not sure how the kids handle a late dinner.

Let it go! My Mom and Grandmother both said, What's it going to matter in 100 years?

Saw on the news they arrested a local dog trainer for using a shock collar.

The dog got loose so the trainer was driving around hitting the shock collar to try to make the dog bark. A lady found the dog tried to approach it, then collar shocked the dog, it freaked out and bit the lady.

Pepper did her last long leash session for a while today. She doesn't walk right next to me, but is very aware of how long the leash is and keeps and eye on me so she doesn't get pulled by it. Even with distractions. I tripped on a rock in the field, dropped the leash and fell. Instead of running off, she ran up beside me an laid against me to get her tummy rubbed.

Now we get serious with the short leash and start learning to walk at my side, heal, sit, crash, stay, come. After she learns the short leash well, the theory is to go back to the long leash and leave it slack only using it when she gets too far way. When she gets where the long leash is always slack you use a long cord and only use it to stomp on if she takes off. When you slowly cut the cord shorter until she doesn't realize it's not there any more. Then she will be like Penny my first Golden no leash needed.

The field and jogging trail up by the universitey just a half mile away is perfect. A wide open area and plenty of distractions with people on the trail, walking, running, biking, dog walking.

Her over-the-top excitement around new people will calm down when we start working on sit, stay, and down with the short leash.

When I let her out of the car on long leash to me the attack schnauzer she was really excited around all the new people. The important thing is that she came and hopped right back into the car when I told her. Currently her sit command only last long enough for her butt to touch the ground and sometimes turns immediately to lay down and wiggle so you can rub her tummy.
