Week after week they have excuses. It sould not take more than a couple of days to hook up the plumbing and electrical connections and get that thing on the road. I hope they drain the old gas out before trying to start the car.

The gotta fabricate and x-pipe to go from the new headers to the sport cats. They also have to fabricate a couple of extra heat shields to protect the clutch and starter wiring. Debbie was on vacation all last week. I sent specs on an x-pipe design that was dyno tuned to those headers for max power under the curve over the entire rpm range.

I have the K&N on the Cobra, it doesn't get enough miles for me to worry about any fine dirt since a well oiled cotton does as well as the paper ones I had in it and the filtered top makes a big difference in letting it breathe. The manifold is an air gap and does well compared to the custom one I had from the Mopar guys in Beaver Dam. That one was experimental.

Glen, do we have a pool for delivery date on the 928 on this thread?

I still dislike people.

Hey, It don't bother me none. Gave up on any sort of timeline when the year changed to 2016 and a guy in CA had basically the same thing done, started well after mine, and finished before the new year. Think his was done in 3 months.

The easy way to do that, is put an ice cube on the back of her neck. Just for a quick second. I learned that when we were shooting models for the cover of an "album" for a locally produced CD.

We had a "promoter" that was the poster child for the word sleazy rent some studio time and of course his supposed famous big name photographer did not show. We ended up shooting the pictures with our equipment and film and just charged him more. The boss made him pay with CASH before he saw a single transparency or contact sheet. We all felt the BS was flowing heavy. The "models" all thought he was great.

Absolutely certain I would enjoy the manual manipulation nipple discovery method a lot more than using ice cubes!
Even though there is a much higer risk of getting slapped, LOL.

While visual confirmation seems positive in this example similar to the results of the ice cube method,
manual manipulation would absolutely guarantee confirmation of nipple location!

My FIL asked me to weed whack their roadside ditch today. He still isn't feeling well after being in the hospital last week. He told me they hired a REAL contractor to finish the ceiling job which is fine by me.

You weren't working in the capacity of the contractor on the ceiling job were you?

Is it an easy week wacker job or you got one of those DR Trimmer Mowers? It always worries me when the description roadside ditch is used. I envision hours of week wacking resulting in an aching back.

Agreed to mow an old dude at work's yard one time. When I got there his entire front lawn was huge sunflowers 5 to 6 ft tall. I used my weed wacker, but did have basically a metal saw blade on it. Still was a hassle, especially carting off all the stalks.

I watched real contractors hang the drop ceiling and doing the sheetrock walls at my former office as the building was being built. Those guys stomping around on stilts with a sheet of 4x10 sheetrock in their arms were cool to watch. The old pros made it look easy. They had one FNG apprentice that was really struggling and making it look not so easy. I was glad to only watch.

Okay, not at night, but spending 5+ hours wandering beaches for a mysterious cave that, well, remained mysterious. Figured we'd be out for a couple of hours and mostly in the shade. Totally did not think about sun block. Ow.

I was actually the FNG on the drywall job. The handydude/alcoholic was acting as the contractor. I was only there to help as my in laws didn't want him there if they were not. They have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years. Some of it is crap but some items are valuable.

We didn't have the stilts as it wasn't that high. Just used stepladders.

Their ditch is only about 100 ft on either side of their driveway so it's not a big deal. He has a commercial weed trimmer with a strap that I will use. I think my MIL is being overly cautious with him doing heavy labor right now. He's a tough MF'er but I even I can tell he doesn't feel well.

What ISO were you shooting at and I see very little star blur so I guess less than a minute exposure.

Back in the olden days we would push process B&W film to get any stars at all. Back when Tri-X was super fast ASA 400. Royal-X pan was just too grainy to be of any real use.
