Never gave any peanuts....peanut butter yes....love peanut butter!

Try giving yours a Mento sometime...very entertaining. ;)

I thought only my Cockatoo was that smart!

I have two Macaws who eat Pistachios as a main part of their diet. My two Italian Greyhounds - Enzo and Amore - grab the unopened Pistachios that end up on the floor and neatly crack them open and eat the nut inside. I find shell halves in my bedroom all the time.

If you have a functioning male in the house, keep them separated.
Keep her on leash, even in a fenced yard, to do her business. Horned up males are adept at getting to her. Nature always finds a way to propagate.
If she is spotting you will have some clean up, but again you can isolate and determine where she spots.
Best of luck and congratulations on your new girl.

My g/f has been away visiting her family for Christmas the last 2 weeks with another week to go and is missing home so I whipped this up last night after a short afternoon out.

Fantastic, and your pup gets to ride home in a Porsche!
Was the site a military base prior?

Baz 12-27-2012 08:21 PM

Nice video Jae!

So the Marly and me segment conveys they didn't give Marley enough "activities"?

You know what they say...."A tired Cattledog is a good Cattledog!"

Thanks for sharing - onya!

J1NX3D 12-27-2012 09:42 PM

haha thanks.

hi Matt, yes it was an old airforce bomb dump. The air base was decomissioned earlier this year but had been unused for a couple of years. its been turned into a major housing development with a new school and other infrastructure. She makes a mess of my car! but nothing I can't clean up.

Okay, Jalops. Time to put your crime-fighting hats on once again. This time it's not just a car owner who needs our help, but a pup named Lexy.

Over at the Pirate 4x4 forums, user heavytic reported that on Thursday night, his 1985 FJ60 Land Cruiser was stolen from a South Carolina Wal-Mart parking lot. That would suck enough for anyone, but the worst part by far is that his 6-month-old German short-haired pointer Lexy was in the truck when it got stolen, and now she's gone too.

Needless to say, the OP is a wreck. He says he's filed a police report and notified his local news stations, but as of Saturday neither Lexy nor the Land Cruiser have been recovered.

I'm a dog owner myself and I can't even imagine how awful this must be. My heart goes out to you, man.

Be on the lookout for this car, folks, and hopefully this pooch will get reunited with her person sooner rather than later. And that the thief will get what's coming to him.

Thanks for the tips everyone! Help Find The Scumbag Who Stole This Land Cruiser With A Dog Inside

Updated: Owner reunited with stolen dog, SUV recovered, 2 charged

That's awesome Enzo!!! Thanks for posting the update.

Stealing a vehicle is one thing.

To steal a man's dog.......hanging would be too good for those punks!

The note tells Santa what to do, and the box has been under the tree for a week. The p.s. on the note was for writing please 50 times and having to put her money in the plate at church. Every time she forgets please it costs her a quarter and the money goes to church. Kinda funny she added a p.s. to the note. Anyway she is rarely speechless but Christmas morning she was. We put our min pin Kona down earlier this year and she had been mentioning a puppy pretty regularly. She had a puppy and drum set on her list but was not real interested in drum lessons, so here comes the dog. These are fuzzy iPhone pics, I got some great ones with my big Nikon, a couple of framers for sure. Enjoy, we sure have.

And now the beach!
You're killing me.
Happy New Years on the other side of the world.
The car is tougher to clean after a sandy beach day.

Matt

I have to admit, including the few tiems I've been in the northern hemisphere, I've never had a white Christmas! happy new Years to you too :)

Boxers

Here are Chloe and Baxter tonight. Getting ready for their evening walk. Chloe, in pink, is our 16 month old female. Baxter, in blue, is our 4.5 month old male (he is going to be big) We rarely use the coats to walk them but it was pi$$ing rain and about 3 degrees celsius out.

We got both from the same breeder and they are excellent dogs. Chloe is a dream dog, high energy but very responsive to commands. Baxter is equally high energy and not quite as responsive... :) But they are a couple of the most loving dogs I have ever encountered.

Raised Labs in the past, my other favorite breed, but the Boxer may be may favorite now. Very loyal animals.

Every Boxer I've met sounds just like yours, affectionate, loyal, "tuned in" to people, etc. Love the breed!

Daisy is a beautiful girl. :) Had one just like her. :( That bump on her head I understand is a sign that the girl is intelligent.
