Juan, do you not have any proper video? Was hoping to see some in car footage with no music....
As i've said before, simply outstanding result, he's clearly well ahead of anyone out there for this stuff, if he was local i would most likely be begging to get my engine on his bench ![]()

Here's another 16 second video that sounds just awsome as he "attempts" to keep it pointed straight down the road, breaking traction in every gear. Man that car sounds mean!!

I wonder if there are still people questioning his 1200+ pull on the dyno from a few years back. I bet if someone much smarter than I plugged his acceleration and top speed numbers into an equation, they would see well over 1000 horsepower in the end product...

I for one was very skeptical about the actual power output, i won't deny that!! There were many that were! And not just because it's more than anyone really thought possible on an aircooled 2 valve engine, but also that this much power on a chassis dyno wouldn't be able to hold traction! I must admit that i am still a little puzzled by the car not wheel spinning through the dyno pull, i've seen cars with less power not able to get the power down on a set of rollers! The exact same type of dyno too!
I thought that kind of power would only be measurable on an engine dyno! His power speaks for itself though doesn't it, i like the fact that he doesn't post on the forums or brag to anyone, and then just goes out there and lets the car do the talking! I mentioned on another post that we had a similar event here in the UK the day before, and there was a 1000 bhp car that managed 222mph. This was a Cabriolet water cooled car, i thought it was a 997 to start with but it's a 996. Anyway, point being this was a mega fast car, and yes it's heavier than Bello's motor, but it only managed 222mph in 1.5 miles, Bello getting 236+ in one mile is something to behold!! This is a VIDEO of the 996 taken by a German fella that's big on the BMW boards, i am in the 997GT2 with Toby, the GT2 is a proper 650bhp RS Tuning engine. The GT2 only managed 197. It's stuff like this that really brings it home just how quick that Bello car is!!!!

To bad the video camera operator didn't keep the camera on the car instead of the sky. Would have been nice to see what happened.

not much to see, he spun a couple times and saved it out in the grass. Not sure I would want to have seen anything worse happen.
Also, JBL you must realize not only is it in a mile but from a dead stop as well. No rolling start out of the corner. And Juan might not want me to say this but the power Eddie made on the dyno was a much higher PSI than he was running sunday. The videos do this car no justice, and if he could just get traction everyone would see some very suprising speeds even at "conservative" boost pressures. While that 5.4L V8 with bigger turbos and a bunch of spray ran fast it isn't as impressive as the little 3.4L that could. |

We've found at our event, that running around the corner makes no difference to starting straight from standstill. By the time you have the car pointing straight you are far enough down the runway to have got to the same speed. It does help without having to try and get up through the gears though, and having to deal with all the traction issues!
I wonder what Bello would run at our venue, a full 1.5miles before he needs to brake? 250mph? Would be great to see his car over here, i can but dream!!

Many people STILL don't believe the fact or results that he has accomplished without ANY major financial backing, the Man is a Genius when it comes to these cars. From 165 mph to 193 MPH just following his driving directions, you have to know him when he gives you that 'Look' of confidence ![]() Hate him, Love him or whatever they want to say the numbers don't lie, it's that simple, now if I can convince him to hook up with the Wizard of Nos people again he will be the Pioneer in a new dimension ![]() We had a LOT of people filming that 220 run( thats the one spinning) I called drifting sooner or later we will find it. In OTHER matters Bello will be attending the NEXT TEXAS MILE it's OFFICIAL!! however I'm helping him get there, so far a Porsche dealership will cover the fuel cost, a friend will provide the truck, I will provide a 28ft enclosed trailer so now I'm trying to find a way for someone to cover his Hotel. ![]() We have come out with the idea that if we can find a company willing to put down 1k that will get him a place to stay going up and coming down plus a few meals, in return we are willing to put your company decal on the vehicle UNCONDITIONAL SIZE, heck if you want to wrap the entire car we'll go for it. Your company name will appear in all the videos that we make and you are free to use the photo footage for press releases, advertising, etc. Imagine Bello at the Texas Mile running 245+ mph with a HUGE Pelican Parts Decal *****Knock Knock*** Calling Mr. Wayne ![]() ![]() Any takers? We need your help to help him, please no offers to sleep over your house, besides Bello having bad sleeping habits, he is a shy person ![]()

In this modern world filled more and more with BS and posers, with the internet giving a voice to every frigging naysayer and keyboard mechanic out there that never turned a wrench, that the dyno was lying, or u can't build an aircooled 6 for big power, or boost safely over 1 bar, blah fcuking blah blah, Eddie Bello is a breath of fresh air. The guy just gets it done, PERIOD. BTW Juan, spoke with Gabe, looks like we are good to go.

Everyone can say what they want but something tells me my phrophecy is coming true...
Verily I say unto thee, tremble in fear mere mortals at what our hands have wrought for the era of glory will be bestowed upon the meek toilers, the days of thunder are upon us...
