"Yenko" Corvair SWB- the rarest of the rare !

should bring MILLIONS at Barret Jackson this year

yeah... right!

The racing community in So Cal (and most likely the rest of the usa) was quite fond of modifying anything with wheels that were perceived to lend an advantage amongst the cones.
For example- Jim Gallagher with his Rotus (real super seven with a rotary) , some guy name Joe with a full race pinto motor in his green MGB roadster, a guy with a lay down 4 cyl chevy injected and turbo-ed stuffed into a sprite chassis, etc etc

If you think about it it wouldn't be any harder than shortening the pan on a VW ala dune buggy. The real challenge might come into getting the front steering geometry to work. But it sure would corner good.

Happy Birthday Radu and Thread!
Sorry I missed out on B-day celebrations, but I was in the garage with the car if that means anything. I will take her out tonight for a belated b-day run. Sometime before 8 or after 9.

No points - because they can't!. The whole deal is illegal. Not sure how they can actually collect the fines. Franklin Cyn. is next.

I just back back from Mullholland and my first brush with the wildlife up there. After the long straight westbound on Mul West, I came upon a Deer in the middle of the left hand corner. That was scary. It just took off over the guard rail as I came screeching up to it. Hope no camera's took pictures of me.

What did we do when the No Parking signs went up in the 80's?

Gentlemen, start your hacksaws!

What's the shutter speed on those cameras? Maybe if you keep above a certain speed, the image will be too blurry to read :)

As Maxwell Smart would say, "It's time for the old rotating licence plate trick".

(Only if hacksaws are not practical)

my guess is that a good eye, and a steady hand with a paintball gun would work a little magic.

[i know ,sammy, my bad attitude is showing again]

I have a cordless angle grinder/ "cut off saw". It is amazing. Batteries don't last because of the hi RPM, but when its charged it is amazing.

Self-incrimination aside... go for it!

My Dewalt sawzaw can take one out in minutes, it took no time to cut a 911 roof off:D

They tested this on Myth Busters and couldn't beat the camera.
