I'm not a big drifting fan but that was very impressive. Loved the camera angles!

Don't be offended John. In the past the ones that said Mul is for pussy's or wimps were the exact same people that either were crying or vomiting after a ride with a fast driver like Dave B., John H., George M., and other fast Mulholland regulars. It happened every time.
My own experience tells of several examples of folks feeling sorry to get into the car. lol Still laughing.

Now here's something you will really enjoy. Leave it to the Germans to be Mechanically superior.
ps. More good stuff is coming soon.

No helmet! That's confidence. Does anybody remember Jack Smith and "You Asked For It!"? I loved that show...

Well the failed part of Mulholland is now paved, last touches to berm and then stripes left to go. The road is pretty much a shambles; the potholes and crumbling portions are worse than ever and there is dirt and debris all through the closed section due to storms and the high winds we have had.

Pretty sure a full week of high traffic will clear it but I can't see how the City allows the volume of traffic it gets with the roadway in it's current condition.

Funny walking past the last 2 failures and the next one which is closer to the East end of the course is an area looking like it is begging to move down to Studio City.

That's a nice subtle green.

Is that a single-double Ansa exhaust?

This is Tex Otto and his rare recently restored vintage Ferrari.
Tex is the person who took that great cover shot for The Mulholland Experience book on Mulholland.
He also formatted the book properly so that it could be printed. Great job Tex, thanks again.

That caution-taped Lambo is a Reventon. Limited edition. Super rare and obscenely expensive.

Forget it! I'd rather have a Carrera GT or more importantly the new 918.

PORSCHE, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE!

...and you had better believe it...my friends. Because it's true.

Dr. Porsche was a genius.

Heck, of all cars you've shown above, I'd rather have that gorgeous cream and burgundy 250 SWB Berlinetta of your friend's. I think that's one of the most beautiful F-cars ever made.

A couple pics from the Italian car weekend Lime Rock used to host:

It is an exquiste car. You have excellent taste in automobiles.

However it is not a performer when compared to modern cars and having it repaired is extremely costly. It is very beautiful for sure.

Old restored Ferarris have their place for show. But if you want to go fast, you will have to get into a recent model from the mid-eighties and newer.

In the last group shot, you can just make out the two 250 SWB Berlinettas behind the gaggle of 250 GTOs in the way.
