I should call him up and ask if the lights dim. Do they use a chair there?
Old Sparky is in the TX prison museum in Huntsville.

Traffic was probably terrible in Huntsville last night, with all the protesters and media types.

I saw a poll on this on CNN last night and it was 95-5 in favor of killing this scum. Not much gray area in that one.

You know, the thing that kills me (ha! no pun intended) is that the anti-death penalty types would cross the street to avoid this knob. If he and his peeps hadn't gang-raped, brutallized and murdered these two young girls, he'd just be another gang-banger waiting for his turn to be a victim of a drive-by. No one would care about him at all!

But because he committed such a horrific crime, he becomes the beneficiary of millions of dollars of legal procedings, UN resolutions, candle-light vigils, and an absolute spectacle in Huntsville complete with weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth about the cruelty of the TX justice system.

Well, I say, no cruelty - no justice!

The wailing and gnashing of teeth generally comes from those who were priveledged enough to not have to grow up in a place where they were threatened by guys like this. They have no perspective. They honestly believe, in their heart of hearts, that some one like this can change and become a good person. They honestly believe that the only wrong he ever did was probably the wrong for which he was punished. They are simply unable to come to grips with the fact that there are bad people, doing bad things their whole lives, who will prey on the very folks chanting and holding their candles for these bad people. They honestly believe it's as simple as "everyone makes mistakes", and should be given another chance. They are astonished, at times, when these bad people use that second chance to victimize yet another. They don't understand these people, and never will. Good thing Texas does.

They should have tossed him a toaster while he was in the tub.

California has 670 on death row and executes less than one a year. Most of those scumbags will live longer than many of us. Pathetic.
