I don't have a problem with that. You can expect an inordinate number of sick/injured folks in a hospital parking lot. My boss is a former body builder and just had some serious neck/spinal surgery. He's no longer in a brace, but cutting 1000' out of his walk to/from the office door makes a difference for him. He doesn't even use it every day, just on his bad days. I'd like to think everyone is so honest, but I know they're not.

A GF in high school had a brother who was a star athlete, total jock, strong as an ox. His WWII vet grandfather bought him a car and, due to NJ's insane insurance, kept it in his own name, which got the jock a handicapped tag and he used it.

Really? Come on! You do realize that keying some asshoe's car makes you an even bigger asshoe.

Not you personally- oops.

Anyhow, I don't key cars, but I can understand.

Never give anyone a reason.

I agree, never give them a reason.

When I'm in one of my P cars, I park far away from the crowd (I don't mind the walk even in the rain) and always between the lines.

The only time my vehicle got keyed. Was at a hospital parking lot. In the farthest part of the lot. I parked my truck ( not jacked up, but bigger than the compact that most spots seemed aimed at) in the only open spot I could find. And the spot was crowded by the car in the next spot. So I squeezed in close to or on the line.
Well. Someone took offence and keyed the down the whole length of the truck. WTF

I guess I could have driven a couple blocks and parked in a nearby Walmart lot. And walked back. But did'nt want to miss visiting hours.

Oh well I knew it was tight when I squeezed in there. So I guess I was setting myself up for it. Was more concerned about my friend I was going to visit.
Guess s--t happens

Cheers Richard

Aways take a pic of the situation (before) with the other car tag in the pics.

They sing like canaries when the cops show up at their home for questionning

What time was it when that pic was snapped? I've pulled into a lot at 3 am when there's no one for miles around and just landed the car to run into the post office to drop off mail.

don't park like a jackoff.

Sorry, but that makes you the ultimate jackoff. I adhere to the Pulp Fiction rules - you don't eff with another man's car.

The quick Post Office stop douchebag.

Apparently she pulled in from the road and parked it right there. Partly in the pathway, partly in the handicapped spot, partly on the sidewalk.... It was not just a "quick in-and-out" visit. She was inside checking her PO box when I arrived, and still there when I left. Not that those are not 'handicapped' tags on the truck, and there is not a temporary permit hanging on the rear view mirror.

About 12-13 years ago I was the store near my old house when a big gust of wind ripped the door of my truck out of my hand and right into the side of a brand new Lexus. I was pissed at myself for letting that happen. I sat there for 20-30 min waiting for the people to come out. They never did so I left a note with my phone number and told them to call me and I take care of it. The guy calls and is super nice. I explain what happened said I was sorry about million times. He told me not to worry about its just one of a bunch of dings the car will get over the years and probably the only note he'll get for them.

Truth be told, it was around 9:30 - 10:00 pm on a weeknight, so things were winding down at the strip mall. But it really isn't necessary to take up four spots now, is it?!?
