Triangle. Good mind-eff movie. Pretty original and rewatchable.

Okay- I'll watch it twice.

Yesterday on Ovation (cable) - "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". An amazing movie, although I've watched it many times I still re-watch when I can. Cate Blanchett is so beautiful!
Then watched some ball games. Later back to Ovation and the very end of "Risky Business". Another superb movie - the soundtrack alone is priceless. That ending though..... |

Interceptor on Netflix
An action movie with a good cast and a good ending. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gqbl8SY2vLc" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

I thought Interceptor was a cross between Under Siege and Atomic Blonde, but not nearly as good. Entertaining and watchable empty calories. Elsa certainly deserves bigger roles. Chris Hemsworth was an executive producer. I like the way he can make fun of himself- especially as Fat Thor.

Spoiler Alert!
^^^ And the atomic missiles and the interceptors looked to be straight out of the 70's . At the end I was more happy for the turtle than the 16 cities she saved. :D It was still worth watching. |
Wow...

^ I thought that was a very good movie! Looks like they did a good job with that compound.

Funny. Under rated. Great ending.

Just saw Top Gun Maverick. Not bad. Lived up to the hype, i think.

Narc--older film with Ray Liotta and Jason Patric

Just when I thought a franchise was broken horse bones I watched "The Batman".
3 freaking hours which was actually worth it. No colors. No sunshine. Just the haze and waste which Gotham was/is. Not a feel good movie. Robert Pattinson's hard stare is still that of a little schoolboy caught in the act but he gave it 100% bulked up (double?) like Bale and sold the role. Action sequences were good. This was one of only recent superhero movies that had a rational plot and tied up almost all the big loose ends. The Batman made mistakes and got hurt. (spoiler) The character height changes made it a little confusing. Same with the Camero batmobile and low tech used even when placed after Marconi being caught from the previous series. It didn't delve into the Bruce Wayne alter ego at all which would have doubled the run time. The Bat should have no problem with a room full of cops after his training. That uncertainty kept it interesting. |
I think I recommended this before, but Terence Stamp is excellent in this 1999 movie:

^^^ I've seen that multiple times...great movie.
