I watched Tom Horn last night too.
I've seen it a few times in the distant past, but last night I think I actually got it.
What McQueen was after, trying to portray.

As opposed to yelling at the TV: "why don't you just tell em you didn't do it?"

IOW I saw it from the character's point of view instead of mine.
Maybe it helps that lately I'm feeling more like a dinosaur, the old guard in the new world.

I watched a movie called "The Tourist" with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. Thought the movie they have Angelina Jolie just looking great, all made up, and in nice dresses, very classy looking. The plot is a bit predictable, but it is cool to the parts of Venice I will never see. She is nice to look at, even is she is bat schitz crazy in reality.

I saw that years ago. Seems like it was pretty good.

Yea, it has scenes that is most men's fantasies to have a hot chick like her looking perfect, that you have only known for a few hours invite you to check in the 5 star hotel into a big suite. It happened to me all the time.

I just finished watching this... It's a good movie based on a true story. It can feel a bit preachy at times but it would be hard to tell the story without any political content.

The movie is set in South Africa but it was shot entirely in Adelaide, South Australia. The classic 70s cars came from the local car clubs. The opening scene from the trailer was shot in our CBD.

Saw "The Last Movie Star"--starring Burt Reynolds and serves as a semi-fictionalized account of his life--pretty good flick--especially for Burt fans.

Supposedly,Grace Kelly driving the same stretch of road that she had the accident!

Roger Rabbit is one of my favorites. The animation is some of the best work done.
Now there is a disclaimer for the racist content along with another favorite
Blazing Saddles.
