This movie is funny as hell.....
Use your bomb. It's our last one! So what if we make it to the rock. We'll be dead in 3 days. I want to live for those 3 days! |
Great movie. I'll never forget the license plate on the gun nuts' Suburban.

We were on a "Perry Mason" legal movie trip.
Hadn't watched "Lincoln Lawyer" before. Matthew McConaughey is good as always and Ryan Phillipe is really good. "Rainmaker" is another good one, solid cast. Then watched "Pacific Heights", one of my favorite Michael Keaton films. |

Saw Tenet last night at the I-Max theater.
Christopher Nolan is in a league of his own..a complex movie. Overall...well worth seeing. There is a car chase scene that is incredible! |

On IFC today...good lineup.
Piranha 3D on right now. Elisabeth Shue and some nice T&A! Then starting at 11am: Christine, The Mist, Event Horizon, Pitch Black, and The Shining. |
The first trailer for Dune. I wasn't a big fan of the original so I hope this one is better.

^^^ I remember going to the theater for the original..when it first came out.
Walked out at the end not really knowing what I thought of it...totally new stuff. I'm surely going to watch the original again before seeing this one. |

Good Film, wife and I watched it the other night. Tom Arnolds best roll after True Lies, Walden is always good. Whatever happened to Bridget Fonda? And Gina Gershon is there also Rich |
Not the average movie and it's James Gandolfini's last. It was released after his death in 2014.
Slow paced to begin with but it picks up in the second half. Well worth the time IMO. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7lCiDIcqMe0" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
So anyway, continuing my James Gandolfini run.
Chick flick night... My GF wanted something romantic so we watched this together. Enjoyable, heart warming and sad at times. Believable story and I could relate to some of the things that happened. IMO this is a good one for you and the wife. Highly recommended. (and there's no political/SJW content.) Death wish looks really good, but Dune looks no better than the original one. I stopped watching the Dune trailer 1/2 way through !
