Mine is a 1978sc coupe, so this is an engine for a Targa? |
According to this it's a 911S engine, not really sure what that means.

The good new is that you got a match as it shows seem it was also fitted in the Coupe. Your VIN would confirm that:
911820001- on: Coupe 911821001- on: Targa As for the S, they seem to be missing the C. The first line for the 79, seem to be missing the S... Which book is that? Have you been on Porsche Simond site? |
Engine Oil
Sorry but i have no idea about 911 Engine Oil but if you want one of the best Engine Oil then go with Bosch Engine Oil.

Hi guys
I have another one for you : 6780392, its in a car I probably cant afford but hope is the last that leaves a porsche addict. Cheers |
6cyl 3.3 turbo 1978 930/60 ROW
|
My engine starts with a 7. It's suppose to be a 3.0L SC engine dropped into my 74 Targa. It's looks right and has mechanical fuel injection.
Engine#: 7318935 I've been searching every where but the number seem nonsensical. This is definitely the number marked on it. Anyone have a theory? |
