A quickie on the gas
People have been mentioning high gas prices...
in the UK a liter of regular unleaded 'petrol' is around 80 pence (approx $1.20), three and a half liters to the gallon - roughly $4.00. Until recently it cost me less to fill up a Jeep Cherokee in Florida than a Suzuki GSXR 750 motorbike in England. My question is "why do the Brits not complain more?" |

Here's one that's actually related to pcars
 We've got the 996, 993, 964 and 911?? what are the earlier cars factory designations ?? Are they all 911's ?? I thought I've read something about a 901 (not to be confused w/ the transmission), but I frankly haven't seen the factory designations for the earlier cars mentioned here. If you really want to impress me, tell me about the 911 derivative cars too (912, 930, 935 - anything else ??). I'll save the transmission # breakdown for another post Just curious...

No wait....Why is it that the guy who just ran a red light making a right turn in front of you (he was in a great hurry)...now putts down the road at 10MPH...? And the REAL meaning of life is....43 1/2. Not 42. And up here in Cold Country Canada...gas is now.....over $4.00 a gal. Bob
