There was a metallic blue in the SC's that I really liked.
Orignally venetian blue, was repainted by PO to get as close to the original color as possible, but I think it's just a tad blue-er.

Here are a few more photos

DRAKO, sorry for that mistake... and for your correction sir....

Thanks much for the heads up and continued support. I always try and do a
spell check on posts I list here as to not offend, and also not look quite so
thick headed due to my meds. Which often make me see double/tripple. So,
for your correction I thank you. I hope that you will visit my link and offer me
some advise, perhaps pointers to improve something I have had countlesss
sleepless nights over.

Fiberglass targa top build

I do hope this link works. I expect real progress to begin VERY shortly and
have something to show you guys. I still have to teach myself to weld, but I've
already taught myself how to paint, body work, fiberglass wood work and make
fiberglass molds. So, one new skill is exciting to me.
Again(not at all to be a smart ass) grammar or otherwise offensive english

CHEERS,
SCOTT

And for the thread purest's, I'm sorry for a bit of a derail I am just letting it be known that at one day in our near future we will have a new option. I am sad to say that it will not be 500 bucks shipped but I think once you see the final product you will see why and be happy to pay what I am guessing the price to be at current market value. I am however holding that to myself at the moment because I have not built one so I do not know build hours involved. But I assure you this will be UNLIKE any top that has ever been made or even thought of.

Wondering, are those 16" or 17" wheels?

Since my Targa does get driven on the street, the functional pads may be needed some day to afford a little more protection to my car. The car has lost 50lbs of A/C and Carrera tail, along with another 150 or so along the way, so I figured I'd indulge myself with them.

Maybe those beautiful bumper plugs you have on yours aren't heavy enough to weigh your back end down? But I guess you were all about the "show" and not so much the "go".

Ruby has both:

So...this seems like the place to get an answer this question. I have an '85 FTL Targa with the black Targa bar. What color would the "Targa" emblem be directly from the factory? Black or silver? I see examples of both in this thread. If possible, can you provide some "documentation" to support your position? I have had people swear to both being "correct". And perhaps, both are. But again, some info to support that being the case would be great. TIA all!

Porsche did about anything requested. But, IMO, a black bar got a black emblem standard.
