Sounds familiar. Keep up the good work. You're going to have a fun car when it's all done.

Like Dave, mine was built by Mark Kinninger at Black Forest. 3.8L based on a 1995 993 OBD1 motor. Almost identical in the engine build with the exception of Carillo rods, Supercup cams (also from Webcam) and ported and polished heads. I'm running the non vram setup with custom SWong chip. The chassis is a 1984 M491. Car was featured in Excellence magazine back in 2008 in completion.
Love it. It's a beast. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1514955819.jpg

Did you buy this car earlier this year? I really wanted to buy this car for my next project.

Tbone1209 01-03-2018 03:17 AM

Yes, Dave - I bought it earlier in 2017. I can see why you would have liked it as a starting point. Were your plans to backdate it?

Fuel pressure @ idle?

I almost bought your car. I hesitated and then it was gone. I regret the indecision. Nice pick up and congrats.

Yea, I saw it and acted quickly. It is my first 911 so I consider myself lucky. The seller Patrick was a stand up guy as he had other offers for his full asking price but stuck to our agreed number. Car has been great, especially since the bespoke Wong chip woke it up.
Your car looks like a lot of fun!
