How many 911 3.6 conversions out there ?
I keep reading about them and they seem to be poping up all the time.
So what about raising your post and throw a pic of it in as well as a count number? You could also state the car which is based/ gearbox / upgrades /color (if no pic) Lets see how many would appear. |

I am just finishing the conversion of a 1980 SC coupe . 1990 3.6. There are few of these cars around here and mine will be the only 3.6 I know of.Long list of upgrades 17x7.5/9.5 wheels ,23/30 torsions ,revalved Bilsteins,Carrera sways,964 brakes,2 Carrera coolers,bolt in rollbar etc.. Can,t wait to drive it again.Street driven only so far.The biggest hassle is the work to reconnect the A/C and heat.

1983 911 SC Targa. Bare metal repaint with new lights, lenses. H4 headlights (60W/100W) Sucro Relay Recaro Pole Position seats in leather. 930S steering wheel. Momo Superanatomico shift knob. 993 Aero mirrors. (Not installed in pic.) GT Racing IROC bumpers. 17" Fikse FM10 Wheels. Brembo GTP brakes. (930 MC) 1997 993 Varioram motor. Sach's Power Clutch B&B headers. Dynomax 17725 crossflow muffler. Random Technology catalytic converters. Patrick Motorsports lightweight flywheel. Patrick Motorsports throttle cable. Thom's RS heater tube. Carrera oil cooler with fan. 20" B&B oil cooler in nose. Tyson's evil reinforced struts with Koni Sport shocks. (Adjustable) Smart Racing 23 mm front swaybar. Turbo tie rods. Rack spacer kit. 22/28 torsion bars Elephant Racing polybronze bushings Rennline strut brace / monoballs. I'm sure I forgot something... ![]()

I put a '93 964 into my '76 Carrera 3.0 in '94, replaced the mg. 915/44 trans w/ an al. 915/67 w/lsd in '02, replaced the 964 w/ a '97 3.8RS spec in '03

Engine: '91 B&B headers,carrera coolers in fenders Gearbox:915/72 Suspension:21/29 T-bars, Bilstein sport shocks, Elephant bushings and mono balls, 18mm front 20mm rear sway bars,turbo tie rods and bump steer kit.
