Bourgeois - my last name and French for "middle class", so both are appropriate. I forget what the 911 stands for but it meant something at the time.

htron = my last name spelled backwards (just hold your monitor up to a mirror and magically it will appear). Has nothing to do with a certain low tech high tech movie from the early eighties (although that movie was pretty cool in its day). 435 = HP rating of the '67 corvette coupe that's been in the family forever (yes it's a real one). Torque is good. Unfortunately if you read the whole thing backward it loses its meaning entirely. 534north. Sounds like some sort of coordinate. I should just stop now. .

Oh well, if you read the first couple of pages, I paid for it.

Milt (zeke, formerly milt, whatever) -- I actually think this is a great thread, 'cause I've often wondered the same thing about some of the names here.

Porsche Crest

No hidden meaning at all--it's the name my parents gave me!

SxS is the abbreviation for side by side or double barrel . I started hunting with a single shot and went to a sxs some time later . Hunting friends started calling me SxS .

Same user name on ebay , all gun forums and car forums .

Sig is a knock off of the Have gun , will travel ( Paladin TV show )

Wife works for an airline so I fly free , and I might have more than 1 firearm .

Also thought about O/UMAN or over/under man but......well.......that just sounded too gay .

And in my best Jerry and George voice "Not that there's noting wrong with that !!! "

SxS

As you all no doubt know already, Cerberus is the mythological three-headed dog that guards the gates of hell. As to how I got the name... the less said the better.

This is funny as it came up a few times this weekend at Palooza. I had a few that swore I must have stuck a v8 in my 911 cabrio. (on a side note, one showed up at the event, and oddly enough, had one ofthe biggest crowds around it)...

So, mine (v8_ranch) has nothing to do with motors really...

v - my last name is Van Wey
8 - number of persons in our family (me, wife, 6 children)
_ - only a placekeeper, no real significance that I know of
ranch - we had acreage up in SW Montana. At the time we only had 5 children... I told my wife, we should go ahead and make it 6, that way we would have the 8 people and thus, we could call our place the v8 ranch. I wanted to use the old Ford flathead v8 logo as a ranch brand up at my gate and other places...

Now you know the rest of my story...

When the 930 doesn't have me under its spell in the garage, my other love is music; my family not withstanding. From hardcore punk to reggae to indie to classic rock, even some metal and alt country...my taste is extremely varied. I also see a lot of concerts.

My user name comes from a favorite band, Morphine. The lead singer's name was Mark Sandman. From the very first moment I heard them, I was hooked, I felt an immediate connection with the band's sound and direction. Sandman died of a heart attack while performing on stage in Italy. I guess I've always been a bit broken hearted about it, so I keep the name as a reminder.

"Wife works for an airline so I fly free" nonrev used to be a good deal until they started flying smaller planes and filling them up.
