So you're saying that you are West's "buddy" (I'm sure Mr. West sez otherwise), considering that you ruin every a/c thread you post in.

It should be clear even to you that I don't have "buddies", those are just co-logical thinkers.

The front lip condenser, even your PFC, has less cooling surface area, lower average airflow than the engine lid condenser, PFC or OEM, with the engine at idle.

So simple logic indicates that your "reverse the gasses" technique/invention/idea cannot possibly provide additional refrigerant condensing capability.

Correct me if I am wrong Keloges, but the idea was to lessen the heat load on the engine and oil by getting most of the heat out of the refrigerant at the front condenser, not make the a/c colder.

No, he has stated both, improved condensing efficiency and cooler engine.

I think I can speak for all in saying we agree with the latter but completely fail to understand the improved condensing capability KelogGes is touting for his "invention".

It seems to me that it would be a relatively simple matter for KelogGes to take some data using the Tan Swan, put the system back in the factory configuration, rear lid condenser first in the flow, then take another dataset for comparison.

Instead, KelogGes has (seemingly) convinced some unknown third party to install a "reverse the gasses" configuration for a dataset, hopefully having gathered an OEM dataset first.

I fully admit that I just can't grasp the idea of a third party, a DIY, being suckered into doing KelogGes' basic research, data gathering, effort, given the obvious illogic of the idea/invention.

It would help a lot if KelogGes would put forth his own version of the logic of why his idea has validity.

ITS more complicated then what you said / indicted

REVERSING THE GASES

Engine and Oil Temperature being much lower when the A/C IS SWITCHED ON is only a side benefits not the main thing !!!

But a major one being as we are talking about an aircooled engine that normally gets hotter with A/C ON, sometimes too much on a hot day with different driving conditions

The front smaller PFC or whatever condenser heat exchanger; is/has actually proven to be the most important when the gases are reversed; because it is always in ambient air temperature!

Therefore heat transfer when the gases are reversed; greatly effects condensation of the system gas temperatures for ALSO the rear heat exchanger in the 180 degree plus engine compartment;

THEREBY greater condensation back to liquid of the refrigerant; so it can make more cold faster/more efficently when it goes to make cold when phase-change expanding in the evaporator.

ITS COLDER;

PLUS FASTER AND PLUS BETTER CONDENSATION

and a much MORE EFFICENT A/C SYSTEM

Did I write this so it makes sense to you in the way I wrote it to you?

Porsche 911 early model A/C design engineers really blew it

As well as a host of others since it was designed who tried to make it efficient

AND IT WAS STARRING THEM IN THEIR FACES ALL THE TIME

AND THEY COULD'NT THINK OUT SIDE THE BOX!

Ronnie when are you going to PROPERLY prove your 29.x degree number you claim you get with your A/C SYSTEM with extended driving and your evaporator does not freeze up BS?????????????????????????

Agree on both counts. Work is way beyond what I can do.

This is awesome. Astrodome sized and fits/seals properly. Plus contains KelogGes goodness.

You talking about the chicken hed?

The "hed" already said he will test on a drive when it gets warm enough.

Austin looks pretty wimpy as to heat the next ten days.

Forge on.

I'll help Ronnie toss your BS BOMBS right back at you...?

When are you, YOU, the "inventor" going to prove that your "reverse the gasses" idea is worth more than a PLUG NICKEL.

Or even more, prove how/why your front lip PFC outperforms the OEM tube and fin design on the road.

Pieholio likes when Willy beats on you.

Look at the upside. There may be a chance you nut up and describe what you are barking about.

General perception of KelogGes nut diameter.

One nanometer.

One billionth of a meter.

Hey, just sayin'

In the picture on the far right side deep, the silver aluminum cylinder is an accumulator tank; needed for the "Variable Orifice Valve" injecting Liquid R134A into the evaporator, for LP return line catch'/retain and to keep liquid refrigerant OUT of the a/c compressor low pressure side inlet so the compressor does not get damaged

you do not have this a normal early model 911
