Thanks Al and great work so far. I spoke to him a couple days ago. He is only interested in the intake parts and, right now, I am trying to sell the whole package (DME, harness and intake parts) right now..
Thanks, Scott Quote:

Yes, the rear chassis crossmember was removed. We can get away with that because of the cage and the fact the engine crossmember is quite stiff when bolted on place. Some people use additional bracing but we have no indication that this is necessary. It sure makes engine removal easier especially if I want to keep the transaxle in place. The engine is a stout 3.6L it makes 369 RWHP and and 290 ft-lbs RWTQ. The architect is William Knight and it was built by Mat Lowrance.

Rasant induction/wiring/ignition. Very hot 2.8L build. Motec M130. We have had to refactor some of the harness to suit our needs, hence the stripped down loom you see...

Here is my new setup running quite well, still needs some tuning plus a valve adjustment and oil change. Hope to pick it up this weekend.

I'm looking at the RHD setup to replace my triumphs but i just don't care for the look. Much rather a cast throttle body than a machined.
however, i do like the RHD pricing!

@Nux, you pulled 271HP out of a street 2.7?
Tell me how! That's damn impressive!

Nice numbers. A street 2.7 that revs to 7250+ RPM, hmmmm?

Damn, if I had what, ~10k lying around I'd be all over that. 271HP in a narrow G weighing what 2300lbs (my 77 is down to about 2250LBS)... Lord that must be fun to drive. Nice work for sure! And those videos:

Which component in your build list do you think is the biggest individual contributor to your the numbers below?
My build will have the following: 3.2 factory euro rebuilt from crank, heads fly cut factory cams (wanted to go webcam 20/21 at rebuild but couldn't) MSD streefire, keeping dizzy XF-RHD 42-45mm throttle bodies w/ direct to head adaptors injectors (30lb/hr) SSIs (like the early torque the "just right tubes" introduce, many opinions on this) Dansk 2 in 1 out (I have a targa with the top off most of the time) Also, is the dyno known to be gracious (some are quite a bit)? The JSRs contribute quite a bit though. We had another 3.0L twin plugged on the dyno that day, and it whent from 243hp using Triumph ITBs to 265hp using JSR ITBs. Nothing else was changed. Also, we had a 3rd car on the dyno - a stock 3L with good exhaust, and Triumph ITBs making 215hp which was a little dissapointing imo. So the dyno is not very gracious. Sounds good and thanks for the info. Al's kit has shown very nice dyno numbers on a 3.2 setup similar to mine along with a somewhat gracious dyno.
I cannot wait to drive my new setup. Would you consider the CatCams similar to a webcam 20/21 or 964 cam? Quote:

O.K. ... So after some 19 pages of Gold Card vibrato stories and selfies, just what kinda highway steady ankle throttle mpg's is everyone realistically now getting with 6 throttle bodies instead of having just one ? ... yeah it matters.
