Oh Haha 07-28-2009 02:08 PM

Wow, I would have thought they were 335's.

No, with the economic issues I haven't been able to do any trips this year. I will get there one of these years, though.

They are Goodyear Eagle F1s and they are as wide as some 325s with the same aspect ratio.

What's the consensus on the Ruf/935 mirror supplier? I've seen examples across the spectrum in terms of quality - any clear winner in terms of supplier?

Brian911s 08-10-2009 12:08 PM

I would say, at RUF. A bit pricey but very good quality.

Yup - that is where I got mine, the source.

eimkeith 08-10-2009 12:51 PM

Cool beans. How pricey?

Brian911s 08-10-2009 12:59 PM

315 €

Keith - I got a pair of repros from a Pelican who was selling a few sets. Can't find the source info, but I remember they were about $175/pair. The fit is OK, needed a little massaging. But where the mounting bosses are epoxied to the backs of the actual mirror, there's a little fogging on the front side of the mirror. I wish I'd paid more and got a better fit and no defects in the mirror.

I know RUF used Turbo 26mm rear torsion bars w stock front torsion bars.

Dose anyone know the sway bar sizes for sure?

Thank you.

You are looking for RUF sway bar sizes for a Carrera or Turbo? I have RUF sways front and rear on my Carrera - can get you the size if needed.

Was thinking Turbo but would love to know what the RUF n/a bars were.

One source puts the early Yellow Birds with 19/26mm torsion bars and 23/22 sways but can not confirm.

Wonder if your bars are the same?

Thanks!
