Bright, sunny, slight breeze, doing some yard work, trimming, etc. Beautiful outside! Also hitting 50 kWh days for solar generation. I'm hoping this isn't an indication of a very hot & dry, extended season to come.

I live in Wellington NZ and it never really rains much. Until last two days. My place is slightly elevated but other people's houses got flooded.
Hot moist air from the tropics routed down in a straight line to Wellington then hits cooler air, boof, rain. Funny thing is GF was annoyed because I didn't want to go to the cafe at a particular garden centre. Exactly the time we would have been there the rain hit and flooded the place and the car park. Water level was enogh to go through the doors of cars

It’s 31 F at home. I’m in St. Pete’s for the month. It will be 84 F here tomorrow.

Beautiful weather here in recent days.
Back 27 years ago the worlds first tornado emergency was issued from the national weather service in Norman, OK. A F5 tornado hit Moore, OK with the highest wind speed ever recorded of 321 MPH. It stripped houses off the concrete foundations and left nothing but the slab. Over May 3rd and 4th Oklahoma had 72 tornadoes. 36 fatalities in the F5 tornado, many at a school. New laws were enacted to make every school have a tornado shelter. https://www.tornadotalk.com/bridge-creek-moore-f5-tornado-may-3-1999/ We watched it all on TV for hours. The local TV stations all go to "wall to wall" coverage with nothing but storm coverage, no commercials. One local TV station KWTV has the largest team of storm chasers in the country, and two helicopters, and a million watt dual pole radar system that can see debris in the air, and even bats leaving a cave.

I'm ready to start complaining about the H&H, but we're still in the low 60's in the day.

Currently 51 here
I think we're going to jump straight into H&H w/out a nice spring. Except on the overnight. The temps are back down into the lower 40's
